I started to see April over a year ago using a Groupon. I try to go every two months! I love her facials and I always feel so refreshed. She changes it up according to what my skin needs. I love her work.

If you’re in need of an amazing and relaxing facial, this is your place. All of the products April used felt and smelled wonderful, and my skin already looks healthier. Not only is the facial great, but she is very sweet and was flexible when I had to reschedule a few times due to weather and work conflicts. I’ll definitely be back!

I enjoyed my experience today at Skin Studio 5 with April. She is very professional, through and very attentive when it come your skin care needs. She also ensure you get the proper treatment by doing a skin analysis dirt before doing any form of treatment or facial. I definitely plan on returning.

As a woman of color, I am often apprehensive about skin care & beauty professionals because of many experiences in DC with «professionals» who simply don’t know how to deal with my beauty needs, leaving my skin scarred or irritated. That being said, I am happy to say that April at Skin Studio 5 gave me the best facial I’ve had since moving here! I had a groupon for a Microdermabrasion+facial. April was kind enough to give me a Sunday appointment before I went on vacation even though she isn’t usually open on the weekends.
Her bedside manner was great, she listened to my skin issues and discussed how we could address them at that visit, and continue to do so in future visits. She was very gentle with my skin and answered all the questions I had. Afterwards, she discussed the products I’m using at home with me at length and gave me a few samples of other product that could compliment what I was using to achieve beautiful, blemish-​free skin. I liked her so much, I made a follow-​up appointment for when I come back from vaca and plan to become a regular!
