I love the fireplace that Starbucks puts in most of their stores. I also love the coziness, which allows me to quietly put in a little work while eating a sandwhich or sipping a cup of tea.

They always seem to have quite a bit of employees«in training» who don’t really know what they’re doing. Out of the many times I’ve gone to this Starbucks, they’ve gotten my drink right only a couple of times. It’s always something wrong. Watch out when ordering custom drinks with syrups. They tend to put sugar-free syrup in drinks when you didnt ask for it. My guess is because they run out of the sugared ones.

Awful mocha frap!, I even asked the barista to fix it and she added milk to my «mocha frap». I wasted 35 minutes to end up with a very bad product. Really disappointed

I came into Starbucks today thinking ‘what would Ariana Grande’ get from here? So out of curiosity I asked the employee, Kayla, if I could have the«Ariana Grande»? She responded with fluidity and honesty working her way through this basiK question. She showed great poise in that she never panicked and immediately got my drink out. She performed a superior Job, getting my drink out within 5 minutes and I would recommend this Starbucks to anyone who is in the mood for some basicity. Kayla was the real MVP and she knows how to make an Ariana grande, in one word– stunning. What else can you ask for in a woman?

This Starbucks is a fine place to study. There are communal tables so you can end up in a conversation on racism and privilege with your neighbor(note it’s practically on top of Howard’s campus) . Most of the time, the bathroom is not so well maintained but other than that the place Is clean. The music can sometimes get depressing(monotone elevator music) if you stay in there too long and it’s also fairly dim so after three hours of studying I have to leave before I start to think about how life has no purpose. But other times I’ve heard them play spunky songs from black music artists. That’s better.

This is the most convent starbucks on my way to work so I come here pretty frequently! The managers here are great, the staff is constantly rotating as its mostly staffed by college kids. There isn’t a lot of seating inside as it’s a smaller location however they do have outdoor seating. Drinks are usually pretty good, staff is nice, generally pretty clean and well stocked.

It’s your typical Starbucks. It’s clean and quiet sometimes. The *baristas are nice. The Price Range Is moderate. Pretty chill place to relax and get drunk off coffee.

When I was in college I only dreamed of having a coffee shop to hang out at and study. This Starbucks is conveniently located on the Howard University campus and is adjacent to the bookstore. It has a great view of the street and sidewalk patio for people watching. The staff is friendly and efficient at moving the line along.

This Starbucks is very conveniently located on Georgia Ave., in front of Howard University’s main campus(didn’t know they had multiple campuses? Neither did I until my second semester here). It is, by all Starbucks standards, your run of the mill Starbucks. The service is nothing to get excited about, nor to complain about. They’ve recently done some renovations that has expanded seating, making it more comfortable and inviting, and in some areas more intimate. This place is typically packed with students, professors, and other professionals(doctors and lawyers and such). I typically come in to do some very last minute reading for presentations or meet with colleagues to either(1) discuss the graduate school struggle,(2) project planning,(3) discuss the struggle again and finally(4) have a sweet treat, because what’s life without sweets?!?

We stop here occasionally for a coffee or frappaccino and sometimes even a sandwich or cake or other snack and generally get served pretty fast and the drink is pretty good and the food fresh. Sometimes the place looks a bit messy with newspapers strewn about outside or inside or the trash barrel looks a bit full or someone should pull the weeds growing outside or wipe the windows down. It’s just a convenient location on the Route 70 bus route and in walking distance of where we live.

This Starbucks is usually pretty busy(especially during the school year) but I love that the baristas always remember my order and are some of the friendliest people I will encounter before 8am.

I really have no complaints about this Starbucks except for how busy it can be, but that’s to be expected. They take mobile payments so I don’t have to pull out that nifty card anymore. And I actually know what rewards I have on deck. It’s quite the meeting place, too. Class projects, bible studies, bored college hangouts, you got it. Takes up seating sometimes but its still the cool place to do homework.

I can’t believe this. No one has Unilocaled the Starbucks beside Howard U yet? It is a fairly nice sized shop collocated with the bookstore. It is open even when the bookstore isn’t. And when I’ve visited, there has rarely been a line. I get my coffee, use my iPhone to pay and am on my merry way in no time. Other than that, it is the same Starbucks as any other. Oh, one more thing, I love the Barista’s eye makeup. It matches the Starbucks Green apron! Awesome!
