Did not open on time this morning. The posted opening time is 5:30, but they did not open until after 6. The workers were not apologetic and the barista couldn’t remember my simple order of a white chocolate mocha. Does not live up to the Starbucks brand.

Oh yes, that smile on my face was Starbucks induced. You can take the girl out of the west coast right? This is all you would expect from a Starbucks, overpriced«health conscious» snacks and of course the coffee. The only trouble with this store is that its hard to find behind all the construction currently going on. I had to step into a vitamin shop to ask for directions. Another thing, why do they always tell you decaf is not available? We know that! They do decaf on pour over and its been that way for years. The staff are nice, although not as friendly and smiley as in Seattle and surrounds.

I go here after I am shopping at target skip the target one because this one is right across the street! It’s a very nice Starbucks and there’s always a line in the morning when I am heading downtown and make a stop to go in. My thing about Starbucks is that if you can make my drink correct and take my order correct I am fine. And also it’s clean. This place has both and I love there seating though it’s a big hard during peak times to find seats. I was just there this past Saturday night picking up a drink. Great atmosphere and nothing bad to say this far.

Your typical Starbbbeeezzz! My soy Chai Tea Latte didnt disappoint. It took a little but longer to get than usual. The last time I was here they didn’t have the tea I wanted for my ice tea. In all fairness it was the end of the day. They made it up by giving me a voucher for a free drink of any kind or size… I always appreciate when people try to make things right.

I’ll always be a fan of going to independent coffee places, but what does one do when it’s nearing 8pm and all three of the nearby coffee places are already closing soon? Go to Starbucks, because let’s face it: they have longer hours. Location was clean, service was fast and friendly.

Before heading into this Starbucks, I need to mentally prepare myself to stay calm and patient, and that’s not generally the mood you’re in before consuming coffee. This is probably the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever visited, and the staff is generally nice yet incompetent. There seems to be no organization or structure. Typically when you’re ordering something as simple as a cup of coffee, they’ll pour that before preparing a venti java chip frappucino, but not at this location. I’ve never come out in less than 15 minutes, and this is even at off-hours when there’s no conceivable reason that should be the case.

I came here twice, the first time I just left since they took so long to take the order and the employee was busy talking with a Target employee. A couple of months later I go there and the same exact thing was happening with the SB employee. I really needed my coffee so I waited. I had a sweet tooth so I ordered a white mocha. It took FOREVER to get my drink. I got my drink I started sipping only to notice that it was not a white mocha it was a regular latte. What a waste of time.

I waited for 15 minutes only to find out that my order was not able to be found. WTF? And was told to calm down when I told the guy who took my order that he made a mistake. Ok, I was given a free beverage. THANKSSOMUCH! Like I need that free drink. No, I don’t need free beverage okay! I need an apology instead! Incompetent male employee!

I go to this location a lot. Very convenient since it’s across the street from Target, close to DSW, and Giant. Usually busy and good service. Drinks always made right and quickly. The baristas actually multi-task and make more than one drink at a time. Would be better if the tables and supplies/milk/napkin counters were cleaned more often.

They need more than 2 people working on a Friday morning. Entirely too slow. They also should know how to make the drinks by now and not give up and put it to the side and act like your order is done. YEAH. I notice that stuff.

Poor customer service. Wouldn’t Allow me to use my free drink reward when I went to pay because I didn’t tell the cashier I had a reward before I ordered… Makes no sense.

This store has a very generous manager. He is very caring and out-going. My drinks taste good most of the time.

I stop here nearly every morning out of convenience. Not because it’s a great experience. In fact, it is One of the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. It’s consistently bad. The line always seem to be longer than it needs to be and it always takes the barista far too long to make drinks. Weirdly, the drinks just always take a little off. As for customer service — I stop there almost every day and they still act like they have no idea who I am.

This Starbucks looks a bit dirty(guess cuz of high traffic?) Nonetheless it’s pretty much the same. Snacks are stocked, kinda need a little more light(if coffeers want to chill and read.

Nice employees, but this is one of the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever visited(and I’m a former employee and have been to a lot!). They ALWAYS seem to be understaffed, especially during morning rush, and in my experiences here there’s usually only about a 50% chance my drink will be correct if I order something besides black coffee.

Where’s that side-eyed emoji when you need it… Because it perfectly sums up my experience here. I stopped in right after coming out of the Columbia Heights metro. I had a few of those Starbucks holiday vouchers that I wanted to use before they expired so I figured this would be as good a location as any. The wait was fairly short even though they only had one person on register. He was nice, but definitely seemed like he was new on the job. He rang up my boyfriend’s Earl Gray Latte as an Eggnog Latte at first, but that was easily fixable. I didn’t have any problems with my Chestnut Praline order. My problem came from my drink itself. As I was waiting for my drink, I noticed a Market Pantry(Target brand) box of heavy whipping cream on the counter. I asked my boyfriend who is a Starbucks employee at a different location if all the locations used Target products. He said that they had probably just run out, and his location will use items from Trader Joe’s if necessary. Learned something new. The line was starting to get backed up now, and the drink orders were coming in. They had only one girl working the drinks and you can tell she was working as fast as she could to keep up. She finally produced our drinks and we grabbed them after a quick«thanks». I didn’t even try a sip until I was a block or so away. It was terrible. I gave it to my boyfriend to taste, wondering if he could identify what was wrong with it. It was mostly foam and whipped cream on top, so he just got a sip of that. He «blech”-ed at it as well before commenting that someone had forgotten to sweeten the whipped cream when they made it. Bummer, because I ordered a holiday drink because I wanted something super sweet! Thinking that the coffee drink would have some sweetness in it, I swirled my cup around to disperse some of the cream on top and had a sip of the coffee. Not any better. It wasn’t sweet and definitely didn’t taste like a Chestnut Praline. I didn’t know what they had given me, but it definitely wasn’t what I ordered. I checked the side of the cup, and it was definitely suppose to be a Chestnut Praline… I wanted to go back and get another drink(or at least inform them that they were using and topping everyone’s drinks with unsweetened whipped cream) but I was already 20 minutes late for where I needed to be. Hopefully this drink mishap was just a one-time thing and this isn’t how it usually is, but I don’t think I’ll be back again to try it out. And if I am, I definitely am sticking around until I taste my drink before I leave.

This starbucks never fails to have a quick set of employees ringing up and making a quality cup of coffee. My daily coffee is quite an order, with black marker all over the cup, and these guys haven’t messed up my order yet!

When shopping at DCUSA skip the starbucks in Target and go a little out of your way to enjoy a better cup of coffee accross the street. I visited this particular starbucks location following today’s morning workout. The store has a great layout. The line begins straight ahead from the entrance and generally moves at a very steady pace, even though it can get long. The employees here are usually very friendly, helpful and always try to push the new line of pastries. Per the usual, I ordered an Americano with soy as creamer. Unlike many other locations, the employees at this store have never tried to charge me the 60 cents soy charge and instead ring me up for light soy — as they should. Employees are very conscious of time and begin making your order as soon as it’s taken which means that by the time you pay, your drink is almost made… Awesome! The espresso always tastes great and they have never messed up my order.

It’s a starbucks. That said, my coffee and croissant were good. Them yelling at us to leave and turning the lights out at 5 to weren’t. So a pretty meh experience but it’s a pretty average starbucks.
