The atmosphere is great and the location is awesome! Perfect mix of restaurant and bar

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish it was stressful, dirty and poorly managed. We walked in and had to walk through the all restaurant and bar to find someone who could seat us. When a very rude waiter finally found us somewhere to sit… there were no seats at the table. When our appetizer came, no napkins or silverware and we didn’t get our drinks yet. When my burger came it was red raw. When I sent it back(my first time ever sending a plate back) the waiter gave me a blank stare and walked away. He didn’t ask if I wanted a new one, but the manager came back with my old burger, cut down the middle, cremated and put on a new bun. Bill came– burger was still on it. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this place close. Save yourself the grief, avoid like the plague.

Chuck is a super bartender and this place is great for brunch! Except those stupid flannel shirts the staff have to wear… That’s some bullshit.

The food and drinks are great at brunch! We asked for a different table when we walked in and the server told us they save those tables to push together for large groups because they come in after church. Honestly, I don’t care about anyone else who may or may not come in… I’m here now, and I want to sit at another table. Then, imagine my surprise when they played Nickel Jonas’s song«Jealous» remixed to «you’re so fucking beautiful…» really? The food could have been free and Javier did a great job, but I still won’t recommend.

A definite bar for happy hour or to grab a quick drink– probably not food! Came on a Sunday evening and they had their football specials. My favorite appetizer, the«Tex Mex Egg Rolls» are a wonderfully deep fried concoction that brings me back to my Minnesota roots! The buffalo wings were a little fatty but had good flavor. Also have tried the«Spicy Charcuterie Flatbread» was not spicy and a little overcooked /burnt? Ok so maybe the food isn’t GREAT– but the prices are, and so are the drinks! $ 4 captain drinks and cheap beer– it’s nothing fancy but it’ll get the job done!

Love this place for lunch. They’re always changing the menu which can be good but also terrible if you fall in love with something. Friendly staff, fast service. Would recommend.

Literally terrible. I ordered the breakfast burrito and the rest of my friends have the buffet. I thought the food was worse Han a diner’s. And the selection for the buffet was no joke– fake scrambled eggs, bacon, old potatoes, waffles, bagels, and fried wings. Everything tastes left out for hours. For $ 25??? You instead should get a three course breakfast with unlimited drinks at Medium Rare for that same price. The server took forever to bring my coffee. I had to reminder her after 30 min. When it was time for the check– I was annoyed that for 6 people there was a 3 credit card max??? Like talk about ridiculous. Since we were a party of 6– we were automatically charged for a steep gratuity. Exceptionally disgusted with the service and poor quality of food.

Came here for brunch. The items offered on the brunch buffet were over-priced($ 30+ per person) and below standard. Runny eggs that were made from a powder. A bowtie chicken pasta that was over sauced with frozen chicken strips. Smoked salmon that had obviously been left out too long(the yellow color on the edges was the first red flag) and stale pastries. There was a waffle bar where they were made to order. I’m not a waffle guy, but I did enjoy this. The bacon was also cooked the way I enjoy it(crisp — almost burnt), but others didn’t enjoy it. I also ordered the bottomless Bloody Mary Bar($ 10) and had two. They were«okay», but there were several items missing from the bar — worcestershire being at the top of the list. I don’t mind loud environments, but the music was incredibly loud during brunch. And to make matters worse, the speaker closest to our table was blown out. So basically it was loud music being distorted. For the cost, I will not be back. There are much better choices downtown that cost half the price.

I go here on Tuesdays for trivia, burgers, and happy hour. The trivia is a lot of fun although it seems there is a reputation that quite a few of the participants cheat. Regardless, the questions are at a good level of difficulty and you’ll enjoy it! Another reason I go here is for the burgers. The burgers are $ 5+toppings. You check mark boxes on a sheet of paper to choose your toppings(funnily enough there is no box for telling them how you want your burger cooked, but at least the server always asks). There are around 5 or 6 complimentary toppings(lettuce, raw onions, etc.) and the rest(cheese, mushrooms, sauteed onions, etc.) are fairly inexpensive. In addition, the happy hour is great! Rail drinks are $ 3 and draft beers start at $ 3. A great place to just sit, hang out, and answer trivia.

Decently good food, alright service, crappy environment. The food was extremely good the only thing k would complain about is the portion other than that amazing. The service was a little slow but then I realized the guy was waiting lot of other tables and couldn’t keep up. The only major complaint was that the space is very cramped and it’s hard to have a conversation. It’s partially due to how many seats are crammed in there and partially due to the tv being on loud. Probably not going back but definitely a must try restaurant

My friends and I visited The Front Page in desperation to find somewhere still serving dinner at 10:00pm. We initially came in to get drinks, but when we heard the kitchen was still open and we immediately decided to get a table. We ended up sharing several appetizers instead of each getting a full meal. We ordered a hummus plate, a veggie flatbread, and chicken tenders(which I didn’t try because I’m a hardcore herbivore). The portions were quite generous and everything tasted pretty good. Although, the items we ordered were pretty basic so I’d hope they would come out well. There were definitely many options so narrowing down what to order wasn’t easy but I was happy with what we got! The items didn’t seem unique or different, pretty standard American cuisine. The waiters and waitresses were super friendly and attentive, coming by to fill up our water cups anytime the water level dropped anything lower than an inch. There were only a couple other tables eating(to be fair it was after 10pm…), but I would expect at a normal eating hour it would be pretty busy. Overall, a pretty good place to eat if you’re looking for some staple/standard items. I enjoyed my experience but not sure if I would make this a regular

Such a great place to come to. I had the chicken fajitas and they were actually quite good. Very fresh and chicken was so good. The dirty vodka martinis are everything! And the mussels were amazing. Cooked to perfection.

Started Happy Hour here with $ 4 house wine & a very good Hummus dish. Sat at the bar, watched the U.S. Women Soccer Team go hard & enjoyed people watching. Megan was our Bartender & she was handling every last one of us in awesome mixology synchronization. The HH drink & food menu was pretty good with variety. Nice flow of libations until I was accidentally sprayed with the soda gun. No harm, no foul as it was all in good fun & I told the other Bartender who spayed me to make sure she tipped me LMAO! Megan poured me an extra full glass of wine for being such a good team player & we continued having a great Happy Hour. This is a good pre-game stop before hanging out for the night.

Typical busy happy hour bar, the best part is they have an extended happy hour from 4 – 8 pm every night. This is great for those that get off later than most. Came in on a Tuesday and found a table near the bar, can’t complain about that! There are actually 2 entrances /bars, don’t get confused about where your party is. Drink specials aren’t crazy good, $ 3 rails, $ 5 margaritas, $ 2 drafts. Cheap but not insane. Place was fairly busy and kind of muggy inside. Our 2nd drinks were terrible, you could barely taste the liquor — so the cheap prices wasn’t really worth the haul. Food was cheap and decent as well! You could come for happy hour and get a decent sized meal for $ 5. Typical bar food, we split nachos and they were fast and basic. Long happy hour is a plus.

Super disappointing brunch for the price. I could have made this breakfast at home. I am glad that they were able to sit our party of 5 immediately. Their brunch items that I tasted are below: Waffle — great flavor but extra chewy. They had a lot of side items to put on it but I’m just a butter and syrup kind of girl. Biscuit — super dry… took one bite and knew I didn’t want to waste calories on it. Potatoes — cooked well and could have used a little salt. Bow Tie Alfredo Chicken Pasta — best thing I had and I’m glad they had it for my second plate. Very little chicken in the pasta though. Caesar Salad — nothing unusual. Bacon — flabby. Glass of orange juice was warm. This place would be great if they were only $ 15 but for $ 25 and like a $ 5 drink… it’s so not worth it. I’m glad I skipped the headaches that would have came if I ordered the bottomless mimosas for $ 10. So many more brunch spots to explore in this price range.

When you walk into The Front Page you feel like you have walked into a newsworthy day. The restaurant is adorned by a strong newspaper concept. This place is a casual spot. There are two main bars and a Saturday brunch buffet. Today’s review is for their bar service. My girlfriends and I made a stop to this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon while bar hopping in DuPont. Thank God I had my girlfriends by my side because I was beginning to feel the heat from drinking our way through the city. My girlfriends and I found a casual spot near the bar and hung out with each other. We chatted and had a blast. The music was fun and definitely pumped up my mood. As far as the drinks, they were mediocre. There was nothing special about their drinks nor was there anything terrible about them. Non the less, my girlfriends and I had a blast while sipping on our drinks and catching up… and the more sips I took the more heat I began to feel. I just hope my friends and I didn’t make any mistakes that would land us on The Front Page of the newspapers.

$ 2 Coronas on Thursdays AND free tacos?! Yup, I’m in. Thursdays are the new Taco Tuesdays. I want to say rails are $ 3 – 4 and appetizers are half off 4−8pm… but honestly I came for the deal above. Please note that there are two«sides» to Front Page although they are connected on the inside. The side on New Hampshire is fancier and better for dining(and has the restrooms), while the side on 19th is better for happy hour festivities and has the taco bar.

This review is pretty much purely for wednesday night trivia. The trivia itself isn’t great. It’s very slow-paced and static, so it’s easy to lose interest in not only doing it again, but finishing it in general. Although, unlike some other trivia options in the district, they do offer pretty legitimate prizes($ 50 gift card for first, $ 25 for second, and $ 10 for third). The reason this place deserves this rating is purely for the value. Until trivia starts at 8, you can pick from a slew of a $ 5 food options, which includes a pretty solid and rather large plate of nachos. But, I will say that the beer specials for that time aren’t great(½ off certain standard beer options). The best value comes from their $ 5 build-your-own-burger and fries combo which is available all night. The burger and fries are both only decent, but give me a $ 3 yuengling and a $ 5 burger with fries and I’ll be a pretty satisfied customer.

This review is strictly for their happy hour specials as I haven’t had the chance to try anything else. I don’t care whatever anyone says, if I can get 8 solid drinks for $ 23 I don’t see why I shouldn’t give this place 5 stars. Yea, let me post my receipt on here. 2 yuenglings and 6 vodkas for $ 23. I don’t even have to write anymore on this review, but I will. All of their happy hour plates are $ 5, except flatbreads which are $ 7. Get their nachos. It is a heaping plate of cheesy, guac-ey, crunchy calories that I am not ashamed to say I ordered 2 plates of. Their southwestern egg rolls were good, but the portion was pretty small.

I have come here twice for happy hour and Trivia night. I was invited by a friend and was hesitant to go when I saw its low rating on Unilocal. You cannot beat the proximity of this location to the DuPont metro stop. You can exit right across the street from the bar. The burgers are great on trivia night especially given the price. The tex mex rolls and fried pickles are AIGHT. Our friends got the nachos and wings and seemed to like it. The bathrooms are okay and are at the level of what a bar bathroom should be. The trivia is a lot of fun but the lame-Os who cheat and use their phones never get caught lol. They have raffles for small gifts too. You get to name your burger and you could win a dinner for two there. They deserve a 3.5−3.9 really but no more. I definitely plan to return again.
