The folks at the Woodrow Wilson Center do fantastic work. They bring in great speakers around the world in many disciplines. These talks happen often and are open to the public. Thanks, Woodrow Wilson Center! The talks are pretty well-attended and you do need to go through security, so make sure to give yourself enough time to get here.

I love this place.
Tucked away in the middle of the Reagan buildings is the Woodrow Wilson Center. These folks do great work: conferences, research, papers, venues for visiting experts from around the world to speak. And their work product is great.
The interior space is modern, light and comfortable without being plush.
Security is pretty standard for a federal office building. They scan your bags, have you walk through a magnetometer, and then sign you into the building. Reasonably polite and helpful security people.
