Yves Gaskins Security

My experience with Yves Gaskins Security aka ProTech1 was good
I had system installed by Yves Gaskins about 1+ plus ago and for the most part have had a good experience, with some hiccups.
Main thing is Yves Gaskins is a nice young man to deal with, showed up on time and did nice professional install.
But that’s where the fun ends. If you need any kind of tech support, after the install and you will, you get shipped over to some some tech support dept guy and that’s when all the good that Yves may have accomplished becomes undone. The tech guy I have had to interact with over the past year on many occasions named Tony Tang is almost too rude to describe in words. and you could never put the language you may want to use describe the attitude given on any interaction with this guy, It could not be displayed on-​line anyway.
So I caution any potential customer with ProTech1-​Yves Gaskins that you may to interact with tech support Tony Tang. If so, This is a real game changer. I have been asked by countless people about my security system and although I like my system, I have never and will never in good conscious ever refer this company to any friend or associate, it would only end badly for me. If you are planning to buy a system from this company, you may want to reconsider. I would cover this issue in the initial interview BEFORE you decide to buy. Or be ready to have a real rude in your face attitude guy with no reasoning for his over the top behavior. If you have thick skin, you may be okay.

Overall, I’m SUPER satisfied with Mr. Gaskins’ service. Mr. Gaskins and his crew (John & Allen) were professional, courteous, respectful and experts in what they do. I bought q-​see security camera system from Costco, and there was no way I was going to be able to install it myself. I looked at a couple companies and decided to go with Mr. Gaskins because he has high ratings with Service Magic, positive reviews and is licensed, which I checked into. He also was willing to spend time explaining everything in detail and willing to work with my budget. He was straight forward with all the cost, materials and the time it would take to complete the job. On the installation date, I requested no shoes in the house. He was very accommodating and respectful of my request. His crew was awesome! They worked well together and were very polite and know exactly what they’re doing. Mr. Gaskins also took time to position the cameras to make sure they get the right angle and optimal view of the area. By the end of the workday, he took the time to clean everything up. There wasn’t a spec on the floor! When the job was completed, to my pleasant surprise, he was able to save me money! We ended up not using some items he brought with him (in case if my materials are not enough). I was definitely happy to save money. He really went above and beyond my expectation. His workmanship was great. All the wires are tucked in and sealed. I wish all companies are in the same caliber as Mr. Gaskins and his crew. Thank you for an awesome job! Customer for life.
