For breakfast the gluten free breakfast pizza is ¹⁰⁄₁₀. Any meal for the restaurant is always up to par.

One of my favorite places to eat when I’m in the area. I love the turkey meatloaf and they always have very good soups and salads. They have gluten free options and stay true to the organic food. Don’t pass it by, you would miss out on great meal

I’m not in this area that often, but I wish I knew about this place sooner because I would have been eating brunch here every time!
From the outside, you wouldn’t guess much of this place. But when you step inside, you walk into the classiest country-​felt gem of a brunch establishment and you won’t regret coming here.
It’s all comfort food– that I can say for sure. Made with top quality, home grown ingredients and they don’t have to state it to taste it. I found this place while looking for something vegan-​friendly and actually open on New Year’s Day. This place was packed so I had a short wait but I was so happy when we sat down to read a menu full of vegetarian and vegan friendly options. I will definitely be back soon for the atmosphere and for the food!

Went for lunch and it was quite busy. The food was
excellent. Despite the crowd the service was very good too.

Excellent breakfast with the wife, had 2 eggs, bacon, and home fries. Whole grain bread was excellent, bacon delicious. Highly recommend. Service was great.

Adorable, friendly eatery we had the pleasure of dining at after our stay at Mayflower Grace. The owner’s daughter was running the show, chatting up regulars and making sure everything was operating smoothly. We ordered the breakfast pizza; one of the most delicious and innovative breakfast dishes we’ve had. We also ordered the special omelette with brussel sprouts, corn, garlic and feta. Fresh ingredients, quick service, friendly staff. Thank you for a great meal!

We liked this place. The salad and breakfast items were very good. The lunch fish sandwich was only okay. I have biscuit and gravy and like it very much. The arugula salad was also very fresh and good, great cheese and extras added on top. The swordfish did not seem fresh on the sandwich, maybe it was from frozen fish. We have been twice now and enjoyed both times.

In one word: Wow.
In a lot more words: everything was amazing. The service, the food and the atmosphere. We shared the biscuits and sausage gravy special to share and it was the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had, and I consider myself to be somewhat of a biscuits and gravy connoisseur. The gravy was so garlicky and the sausage was perfectly flavored. The eggs they served on top were the fluffiest and creamiest scrambled eggs that I’ve ever had.
I had the homemade corned beef hash and eggs (I had them over easy instead of scrambled) and it was definitely some of the best I’ve had.
My friend had the buckwheat pancakes, which I had a bite of, and I’m not normally a sweet breakfast person, but these were amazingly light and fluffy. And not overly sweet.
Everything is clearly homemade and they seem to really know what they are doing. I could keep going but hopefully by now you are on your way there.

Ordered food and sat at the counter with two other guests… After asking several times when are food was coming out, the waitress said the pizza usually takes about 20min to make… We were there 45min and no sign of our food… this is completely unacceptable given we orders pretty simple stuff (burgers, salads, etc.).
We finally had enough and walked out. The kitchen is tiny and doesn’t seem as if it is suitable for the volume they do. Also, our salad sat next to a garbage can in the kitchen, I guess waiting for the other food to be prepared we ordered. The kitchen did not appear to be clean either. We will not be returning here to say the least… Very very poor service. They should have offered to comp our meal when they saw how dissatisfied we were… Instead, they charged us for our drinks… Very unprofessional.

This is one of those places you don’t really want to write a great review for because you just want to keep how amazing it is a secret.
All around it’s just amazing — great service — and probably the best pancakes on the plant and the best Pizza I have ever had — I wouldn’t mention it was Gluten free.
If you are in the area you have to go — just don’t take my table.

Went here on the drive back from the casinos the next morning, and I am so glad we did. I enjoyed one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. I had some sort of lobster eggs benedict, which was so so good. Our waitress was friendly, if not a little slow, but it wasn’t a problem. The place has a diner feel to it, but the food is higher quality than any diner I’ve been to.

Went on a saturday night without a reservation– was able to be seated in 15 minutes.
The food was delicious, if a bit pricey and the interior décor was so whimsical!
However, once ordered it took more than a half hour for our food to come out and the place is byob, so I can only give three stars

Fantastic food that is healthy AND delicious… Great Sunday morning place and I can’t wait to try other times as well. Buckwheat pancakes are perfect.

This place is as solid as it gets.
Great whole ingredients and it seems like the food here is made with alot of care and is not just churning out dishes like a machine.
My prime choice is the mac n cheese with roast garlic. Oh my good lord this mac and cheese is incredidle and honestly there goes my diet.
Would love it if they offered some organic locally sourced fried chicken. if they offered that then i can execpt to die of a heart attack at an early age (but die happily of course)

The best breakfast around. Have gone probably a dozen times now and the hash is still my favorite, followed closely by the breakfast burrito. Delicious harney & sons teas and fresh juices that change daily. Would give it a full five stars if I hadn’t experienced an awfully bland dinner there which consisted of gnocchi that tasted like straight up flour. Have yet to be disappointed with breakfast though!
–Place can feel a little «uppity» when theres a lot of out-​of-​towners.

I wish I had enjoyed my breakfast here as much as others seemed to like theirs. I stopped in by myself one weekend morning and the place was packed but I was seated within 10 minutes. Needing caffeine in my system as quickly as possible, I ordered a cappuccino. When it came I was pleased by the large mug it was in and it was very good.
The menu seemed to have very many delightful looking options, but I had a craving for corned beef hash. Knowing that they make theirs in-​house was enough for me to ignore the rest of the tempting options and go with that. Too bad I wasn’t crazy about it. It came out in a metal serving dish that was splattered with grease and looked messy and unappetizing. The eggs (organic!), which I requested over easy, were very good and I dipped my toast into the yolks.
I probably should’ve gone with the breakfast pizza or pancakes — I probably would’ve liked those more. I’d be open to giving Hidden Valley Eatery another try in the future if it is convenient. The service was good and the place seemed to have a lot of potential.

This place was such a great find! Vegetarian friendly, Gluten Free friendly. And just all around friendly! We visited at a strange hour, 4pm on a Saturday. There was one waitress working, but her attention to us was better than most places. She checked in regularly and always made sure we had water (it was a gorgeous warm day so we needed it!) my boyfriend, whose vegetarian, had the onion soup and the veggie burger. He LOVED the onion soup and said he was pleasantly surprised by the burger. He makes his own burgers and they are fantastic, so he finds it hard to find a good veggie burger when we go out. I had a turkey sandwich that I «built» myself. It was such a great sandwich, and the sweet potato fries are amazing! Can’t wait for the next visit.

I decided to leave another review lauding this place. We have been here 5 times, and even though it is a 20 mile drive, it’s well worth it! The staff are excellent and very kind and accommodating. The food portions are just right for us, so we are always pleased that we finally find a place where we can finish the food without having to take it home to eat it as lunch and dinner! Fresh food always taste best in my opinion. And the taste is perfect, without drowning the food in sauces and salt and oil or grease as most places here are wont to do. So excellent job Hidden Valley Eatery! Please keep it up. We will be back again. (^_^)/

Fresh, local, yummy. The best pancakes on the planet. Sure, the atmosphere is… not ideal… but the food is always delicious and on the healthy/​wholesome side if you go that way. The service is solid. Wish they were open for dinner more often :-(

Creative cuisine options but environs leave a little to be desired. Great baked goods and dessert options but slow service. If compared against other local options clearly 4 stars but on greater vantage I’d say 3 stars. Never would this get 5 by me despite the tasteful pasted pumpkin seeds on my ginger and butternut squash soup!
My suggestion is to get «can’t fail» menu choices and don’t be tempted by something glamorous as it won’t deliver. Add to your choice a nice salad and soup or many of the breakfast and brunch options and you’ll be very pleased you stopped in for a bite to eat.
