Okay. I have been coming to Washington, Indiana since 2009 working at IPL’s Petersburg plant. In that time, I have played the little 9-hole course adjacent to Mulligans’s in Washington many, many times. Also, I’ve eaten in the Mulligan’s Sports Bar many, many times. Here’s the deal. The beer is cold and the food is a grade or two above anything in Washington. In 2010 and 2011 there was a hipster, sous chef from Washington via French Lick named…, I can’t remember his name, who leased the Mulligans from the owners… He was excellent. A solid menu with daily specials and a hamburger made from the tails of the beef tenderloins that was fantastic. He tried to spruce the place up and had specials all the time. He left and so did I. Recently, the new leasees are trying to provide an excellent dining opportunity in Washington, Indiana, too. The food is really good and the service is very, very good. I highly recommend Mulligans for a quieter dining experience should you find yourself in Washington, IN.
