Jade Garden

The ONLY reason I ordered from them instead of KAM FUNG is because I didn’t have cash and I needed it delivered because I have FOUR children under 6 that’s I didn’t feel like dragging out of the house etc. So… To continue… I ordered spicy cashew chicken and chicken with vegetables. I had asked for brown rice to which she told me on the phone that they didn’t have brown rice and she had put me on hold when I first called and was rushing me through the ordering process so I didn’t argue about the brown rice and just said whatever, I’ll take the pork fried rice. The food came, I opened the containers and it smelled like dog food! I immediately felt nauseous and apprehensive. I served the kids and myself a very little bit, took a couple bites and then couldn’t eat anymore it was so disgusting! Everything tasted greasy and all the same. My cashew chicken was not spicy and tasted and was in the exact same sauce as the chicken and vegetables. As I doesn’t $ 20 in 2 combo meals (plus tip) I called her back and told her all this (except for it smelling like dog food because I was REALLY trying not to be a total Bitch). She argued and said that it couldn’t possibly be greasy because they steam everything??? Sooooo… The steam the pork FRIED rice??? I didn’t argue with it. I told her the last several times I’ve ordered from them I was very disappointed and that the only reason I order from them is because they take cards. Then, she proceeded to tell me that there was nothing she could do and that I should just not order from them and they haven’t had complaints from anyone else. So yeah… I should just stop ordering from them. WTF? So… I called back, had the delivery boy come back and pick up my food, and she is (hopefully) refunding my money.
I will never order from them again and can’t BELIEVE the amount of arguing and lack of caring this establishment had. I was very nice when I called to complain and am blown away that I was told flat out to order from somewhere else AND she offered no solution.
So… I’ll absolutely order from somewhere else, I WILL get my money refunded, and I will MOST DEFINITELY make sure everyone in the area knows the experience I had!

This place is not called Jade Garden anymore, i think it is Sun Chin, or something close to that. Firstly, the dining area is dirty and the smell is not great. The only decent thing about this place is the price. The food was absolutely disgusting. I love chicken and broccoli and have eaten many mediocre orders but this was BY FAR THE WORST I have ever eaten. The broccoli was undercooked and the whole portion tasted burnt. The sauce was terrible. The boneless ribs were cut thin and were very chewy. We tried beef suey for the first, and definitely last time … At least at this place. Somehow my 2 and 6 year olds actually ate the food. I guess if you’re on a diet, eat here. You will only be able to stomach a few spoonfulls!!!
