Delicious chicken tenders and sides. They also do catering and are excellent and reasonable. Try them.

We always get the 30 tender meal that comes with three sides and a gallon of tea. The tenders are fresh and crispy with pieces of Chicken that are the right size, not too thick or thin. The sides portions are generous. If you call your order in, you won’t have to wait as long.

Our fried chicken was very good, served hot and fresh with a thin crispy crust. Sides were very good as well. We tried the steamed veggies, mashed potatoes with gravy, cole slaw, and green beans. Rolls were soft, hot and fresh — real good. Prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly. Food was out quick. We plan on eating here again.

Chicken is always great. Really everything is good if you get it when it’s fresh and hot. My son LOVES their chicken and Mac n cheese. A great weeknight rather not cook go to place:)

My friend brought over tenders, mashed potatoes and gravy with a roll from here. The portions were very large. I loved the chicken, it was juicy and tender. The roll was fantastic as well. I didn’t love the potatoes and the gravy, but that’s a personal preference. Excellent value as we all got 2 meals and were very satisfied.

Food and service were both outstanding. Chicken was moist and tasty. Sides were very good. Thought rolls were store bought but great taste showed they were not. I would definitely return.

Im throwing down 4 stars for this because I couldn’t find anything wrong with the place. Everything was decent. Decently clean in the building. Decent prices. Decent food. Everything decent. The picture of the menu in the Unilocal photo is wrong. Theyve raised their prices. Its all just — eh Nothing to complain about But nothing special.

First time here and pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great — better than most fast food places in terms of cleanliness. Service was excellent as well as food. A large variety of sides and their tea is excellent. Will definitely be coming back here!

Food is pretty good, but a little pricey. There were lots of flies when I went.

The drive thru menu board is currently blacked out — apparently they had some recent electrical issues — so the employee walked out to my car with a laminated menu to help me decide what to order. He was super nice. I got some chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese. The chicken is tender, and the breading is thick and crunchy. The mashed potatoes were good, as was the gravy, though the gravy was extremely hot. The mac & cheese was flavorless. The roll was good, especially dipped in the gravy. Good food and great service — I’ll be back.

This place always has good chicken. Through the week they offer $ 5.99 lunch specials that are good too. I like that they offer sides like corn casserole, broccoli rice casserole, fresh green beans, and many more. Food is always hot and fresh. They also have fantastic service.

My absolute favorite chicken place. Very tasty chicken and tenders. Their selection of sides is awesome. Love their macaroni &cheese, the roasted potatoes and fries.

Wanted to try a new spot and decided to try The Chicken Place! I went to the drive thru and ordered the chicken tender family meal. The guy at the window was very nice and knew a lot about the menu. The order came out in a decent amount of time. The tenders were very good and crispy, loved it! I ordered Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes as my sides and they were ok. Gravy came with the tenders and the gravy was good. Very thick and creamy. I would definitely be back for some more tenders soon.

Good food, but seriously pricey. Almost a dollar a tender. Ouch.

Was in a rush late, no other options open near Christmas and I happened to find it and go through their drive through. Ordered the 3 piece chicken and it was great. Breast was tender, fresh tasting and juicy. Mac and cheese wasn’t too runny like some places. Would have given a 5 but I originally wanted roasted but they were out. Person working the window did give me a breast to offset, so I appreciate them thinking of me and why I didn’t give a lower rating.

This place get’s 5-star for service! Wow! for a «fast food» place I was super impressed with the level of service. Also the Sweet Tea is some of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken itself is good but the batter around it is, well, awful, tasteless, plain, dry… I wish they had a grilled option because the chicken taste great. The sides are ok, but nothing special. I’m not sure I’ll be back but was really impressed with service and the tea

Solid A-OK, though there is room for improvement. Heading south on Rufe Snow around lunch time, Thuy decides she would like some fried chicken and why don’t we try out that«new» place. «Sure», I say, «I’m always up for new.» Well we get inside and see fried chicken livers on the menu so that’s a done deal. We augment(after a bit of figuring how to get the most bang for the buck on rolls and no sides) with a few pieces of chicken(comes with 2 rolls, no sides). Livers are cooked up fresh to order and are pretty tasty, though I wish they had a bit more breading on them. I also still crave my sweet red sauce(Brown’s Fried Chicken days), but alas the livers are served with gravy. Thuy is perfectly happy with the livers, and the gravy. The chicken let us down. It was not particularly hot, nor was it very crispy. I suspect it would have been OK if it was more recently cooked, but the chicken we received was not. Bottom line: The chicken livers saved it from a 2-star review, but there is another chicken place(just a few more blocks south) that I like better.

Let’s get the good out of the way first, because it starts to go downhill from there. The chicken tenders are great(juicy, crunchy, robust chicken flavor). It reminds me of the kind of chicken that you get at a Chicken Express or a Golden Chick restaurant.(see pics of these moist tasty morsels) I wish I didn’t run across a small piece of gummy cartilage in almost each tender, but because of the taste I’m fine with letting it pass. Service was pretty good. I’m usually a little awkward when ordering at a new restaurant, and the staff was patient with me while I stumbled with my selection. The bad… The atmosphere… ok, I don’t use the word sterile too much in these reviews, but this place is the very definition of that word. I couldn’t help but feel like I was in a hospital. The only decorations they had in the lobby was one lonely plant(probably fake), a neon Blue Bell sign and a large sad pixel-ated company sign. I guess they’re trying to create a strictly To-Go location, because the store doesn’t feel welcoming /warm /comforting at all. It just feels cold and soulless. The sides that I had(mashed potatoes and mac’n cheese) were almost generic. If I ever go back I’ll probably try the potato salad. And the rolls… they tasted like the rolls you purchase in the deli area of your local grocery store(I was thinking this then my girlfriend asked me if it’s possible that they bought these at the grocery store, so I wasn’t the only one thinking this). If you like these types of rolls, you’ll love em(for me, I love buttery soft rolls like Golden Chick). I’m sorry, but other then the chicken, I don’t see what everyone else is raving about. This place is really vanilla(without the vanilla beans). But I guess if you have no other good choices for fried chicken in the area then this is passable.
