We were visiting in VT and drove by one afternoon so we decided to stop for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised! The staff were friendly and the food was awesome. We grabbed a couple sandwiches and soup. We ended up having to eat in the car because the place was slammed! Definitely worth stopping for but make sure to get there early because they close at 2.

Lovely place. I enjoyed the layout, decore, and the lady at cash was pleasant and humored my husband’s goofy conversation. At cash you order and take a number stand to put on your table. Not mug time passed before our oatmeal and egg omelet came out. Oatmeal was hot and full of raisins and walnuts. My husband enjoyed his eggs and toast. The coffee was also great. I can’t imagine they travel far to get coffee(Green Mountain coffee is next store). We would definitely revisit this place.

Great food. We had our dog so we got breakfast to go and sat outside in the park at the picnic tables. The blueberry pancakes were unbelievable and the staff was helpful and friendly!

Great local food, consider splitting as it is a lot of food for the money! They compost so don’t worry about not finishing. Good people, great food.

I can’t say enough about this place. Yesterday we had bfast here and even though it’s over 30 minutes away from our hotel, we came again today for breakfast. The breads(esp cinnamon swirl or wheat bread) and cookies are excellent(molasses /ginger) The service is perfect. Best thing they have hands down is the pancakes. OMG. They will change the way you look at life and think about pancakes. I kid you not. They are perfection.

We ate breakfast here twice, getting omlettes and blueberry pancakes. The omlettes came with toast and home fries. Real maple syrup is $ 1 extra. This is a casual place where you order at a counter, fill(and refill) your own coffee and water and bus your own table. The breakfasts were okay, not great. The omlettes were nicely filled, but a little greasy. Home fries were unseasoned and consistently undercooked. The pancakes should have stayed on the grill a bit longer. Home made cinnamon toast was thick and good. Coffee was on the weak side. Better to grab a coffee at the Green Mountain Café across the street. Both times we we went the place was nearly empty, but we waited a long time for our food. Unclear why.

Super simple and delicious food, got a turkey bacon ranch wrap and boyfriend had a dill chicken salad sandwich. The dill chicken salad was so good, definitely need to figure out how to make my own since we’re nowhere near VT. The white bread is so perfectly soft and fresh, was pleasantly surprised. A nice quick place to stop and right next to Green Mountain Coffee.

Huge, fluffy omelet(I forget what mine was called, but it was stuffed with hash), and perfect-looking homemade cinnamon raisin bread. I should’ve probably had this as a french toast. Service is definitely local… you can tell that everyone knows everyone else. My service was friendly and polite, but it was clear that I wasn’t a local. Recommended for a quick bite and a solid meal.
