Awesomely decorated neighborhood bar/​restaurant where everyone is welcomed with a smiling hello from the friendly waitstaff. This unique establishment has a huge variety of beer, domestic — craft, along with every flavor and brand of liquor. Start your meal off right with one of their many delicious appetizers or homemade soups. Their menu has something to please any pallet from vegetarian dishes, to ½lb. all beef burgers to the juiciest ribs smothered in a secret homemade bbq sauce to die for! Everybody has a great time at Kennedy’s whether your eating & or drinking, playing darts, or playing one of their many video games.

I’ve been here a couple of times in different groups. Once on a date and once with a large group of out of town coworkers. Both times we had great service, never had to look for our waitress to order more drinks. They were very accommodating to newcomers to the larger group, with the incoming drink and food orders at different times, and our waitress was very friendly.
The food was good, it’s been a while since I was there so I can’t remember exactly what I ate, but I don’t remember having any complaints.
I like this place because it’s local to me, it’s not a chain, the atmosphere is cool and there is a lot to look at with the décor. They also have a smokers area out back, which i liked.
The only thing I don’t like is that it’s a little bit expensive.

Horrible service. …staff with an attitude. .food was average… wait staff far below average. If I could give a negative star rating. .I would! Too many other good choices in the area

Won’t go back! You should get what you ordered; not delivered a substitute without prior notice so that we’d have the option of choosing something different. Waitress didn’t care, owners son didn’t care, we did. Obvious customer service and satisfaction is not important! Choose The Lodge instead, great food, great service! Have one star because you couldn’t give a review without a start rating.

Outstanding service and atmosphere. Food was good and served very fast! Could have been a little hotter (the food temperature), but it was very good and large portions.

Not a bad place. Food is always good. Their philly steak and fish sandwich are excellent. Good atmosphere and lots of tvs to see the game.

Cool local hangout. Good food for the price and decent beer list. The server (Wendy) is very good and memorized all our names. We had a party of more than ten.

Get the beer cheese pretzle burger and add bacon.
My mother and I occassionally pop in for a late lunch on the weekends, the waitresses are extreamly nice and very attentive. I’ve ordered quite a few different things on the menu over time and I’m taken back with the flavor of the beer cheese on this burger. I’m a pretzle burger connoisseur and this burger tops the charts! I reccomend asking for an extra side of beer cheese because you’ll want to dip your fries in the excess sauce!!!

I’m surprised its taken me this long to write a review for Kennedys. My Husband and I and been coming here pretty religiously since we moved to Waterford and we LOVE it.
The food is great, the drinks are strong, and the service is fast. Everything is reasonably priced… you just can’t go wrong.
It’s your typical bar food, lots of deep fried options with some other things thrown in there… but thats what you go to a bar for right?! We LOVE their breadsticks they are so good, and of course deep fried. My go to food options when we go are usually their BLT, The Kennedys Chicken Sandwich, or the Fish and Chips. All amazing.
We frequent here maybe once a week because we love it so much. The décor is really awesome and I love all the mismatched chairs and tables. The tables have peoples names and other nonsense carved into them and they really give a cool vibe to the bar.
Also, apparently this is THE place to go for St. Pattys. My Husband and I tried to go last year but it was SO damn crowded we decided not to. They had an outdoor beer tent and a whole bunch of stuff going on if you’re into all that.

Hard to believe this place is just down the road and we have never been. We finally had the chance to try it the other night and it was great.
I ordered a steak and my wife ordered their chicken. My steak was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were very good! My wife really liked the chicken too. It was coated in BBQ sauce and covered with bacon, ham and cheese. Very tasty!
We tried the Shamrock Bites — broccoli and cheddar bites — they were okay. Nothing special.
The service here was excellent. Prompt refills and friendly service.
The décor is a little different with random things placed on the walls and ceiling. I liked it though.

OHHH YEAHHH!!! Great Food, Staff, and reasonable prices. Total fan of this joint! The patrons range in age and are all red heads (which is awesome!)…we will certainly be back for more!!! LET THERE BE ROCK !

I came here for a pint and was given a pixie cup. I realize pricing and specials vary from place to place but charging for a pint while giving everyone 12oz plastic cups is just cheap. If you’re considering going here for St Paddys day, I’d probably try the Irish Tavern instead.

great atmosphere, and service. I have been coming here on a regular basis since i turned 21. The food is good and the beer is cheap. the waitresses are friendly and quick. I usually just stick to burgers and sandwiches or the fish dinner. fish dinner. Ill say it again… FISH DINNER.
Update: I think my wife and i are having withdraws from kennedys since we moved. It takes a long time to get an atmosphere like this place has. There needs to be more bars like this. Everywhere. If you live near this place do yourself a favor and stop in.

Favorite thing about this place is the early opening time; I work the overnight shift so it is great to be able to stop in for a beer & «dinner» at 9am. The service is always friendly & great; the food is hit or miss. Depending on the day or item, it can be delicious or inedible. I had been stopping in at least once a week for some time; but the last time I was there, the fry oil was obviously dirty & the fries tasted AWFUL, I haven’t been back since because every time I think about it it puts me off. Also some of the specials are a very small amount of food for what you are paying. Good service, good hours & comfortable atmosphere are what make it a good place.

Tis place is close enough to our house it may end up becoming our ‘regular’ spot. The bar itself is a true neighborhood oddity– lots of mismatched chairs, souvenirs, and photos. It is evident Kennedy’s has been a fixture in the neighborhood for a very long time.
The food is homestyle pub grub, and very good. The french fries are as perfect as one could wish for– crispy outside, pillowy inside. I am fussy about fries, and they hit the mark.
The sandwiches are so far all quite tasty and attractive– I have yet to get anything not perfectly cooked. The burgers are simple and unfussy, and never dry or bland.
The menu lacks a few Irish favorites, but the specials are always interesting. I wish they had more beer on tap– my only real complaint here is the selection is quite anemic. They make up for this somewhat with a great whiskey selection.
Service has so far been spotless and excellent. They really care, and it shows.
The beer and burger/​brat lunch special is one of the best deals around.

Kennedy’s has the best omelet in Waterford! I ordered the Cajun pulled pork omelet and it was so delicious. I will come here for all my breakfast needs.

I have been coming here since they opened when the present managers’ grandparents ran it. The food is very good, I’ve never had anything bad and the staff friendly and good. If you like Scotch or Irish whiskey they have a really great selection of both. I’m not much of a beer drinker other than Guinness but I’m told they have a pretty good selection there too.
For a relaxed atmosphere, good food, friendly service and a pleasant dining experience Kennedy’s is a great place to go.

Had lunch here last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere and staff, good service, and the food was exactly what we wanted. We’ll be back for sure.

Awesome service, great tasting and good sized burgers, and a friendly and neon lit atmosphere. Great place to have a few drinks or just dinner, I have yet to come across something on the menu thats not good. The Guinness is fresh, and the staff is friendly. Personally my favorite hometown pub.
