Harry and David

We ordered several «David’s Holiday Gift Tower» gifts to be shipped to friends and family, valued at over $ 200. Thankfully, we also ordered one for ourselves. It arrived today, and what a let down. The reg. price on these is $ 50 for 4 pears, 2 apples, a tiny bag of popcorn, four cookies, and a small handful of chocolate cherries.
My son, who LOVES pears, and is the family pear connoisseur, found them to be ‘okay’ at best, but said he’d rather have one of the pears we bought at WalMart. Hmmm, these were about $ 5-​$ 6 EACH. The pears were bruised, very hard, and not flavorful.
Very disappointed. Next year, we definitely will NOT be ordering gifts shipped from Harry and David’s. The price was high, and the quality was low.
