Crossroads on the Charles has beautiful views but having lived there for 27 years and sold, buyer beware. I owned for 27 years. The building itself has major structural issues. It is poorly managed. Board and unit owners have been contentious for years causing problems with getting even the basic maintenance done well. Recently, half of the building had to evacuate for several months due to joints coming apart(note that the building is angled). For the most part and with exceptions, the units are owned by people that are over 60 years old. The pool is small and not possible to swim laps. Very limited visitor parking. Concierge in my opinion not needed full time nor building manager and drives up cost of condo fees. Be prepared for major special assessments whether disclosed or not. Many missing records due to change of control, poor boards. Sad. Beautiful building but the inability for people to truly get things done is catastrophic(regrettably not an exaggeration). The building is not sound. The total land value may be worth more than the building at this time.
