We stopped here for lunch while on a drive last weekend. Such a lovely place and the food was amazing! We had the Sophia pizza and Basil gelato. It was all very fresh, even in January, and the woman who owns it was a doll. The décor, food, and friendliness completely transport you to small-town Italy.

Had a lovely lunch on the patio. Pizza is wonderful, but the gelato-best I’ve ever had. Not to be missed!!! Can’t wait to go back for more. Yes, you can have it to go. It’s actually better, you can enjoy it leisurely.

Why go to Tuscany when you can dine amongst the grape vines of Nona Lisa and feel like you’re there. Drive the extra mile off the beaten path so your palate and spirit can leave satisfied. Katie, the owner, yearns to give you an experience, not just serve you food. Warmth exudes from the décor, and aroma emanates from the tiny spices freshly picked from your table side. Smell your food before you eat it, because the comfort begins there. Gluten and dairy-free? She’s got you covered, and the gluten-free crust actually tastes good. You’ll want to save a few bites just to dip in a bit of olive oil. Most importantly, stay for dessert. Homemade gelato and sorbet are rare finds, but German Chocolate gelato that tastes like you crumbled the cake into it, or Concord grape sorbet that tastes like deep purple is unheard of. Nona Lisa, you are my Bohemian cozy spot, a home away from home.

Everything was amazing… Caprese salad was made with home grown tomatoes and was delicious. Calzone was perfectly sized, cheese pizza was devoured within minutes by the kids. Quattro formagio pizza was very fresh and good. You cannot miss the homemade gelato and chocolate Nona Bread. Just wonderful!!!

Awesome place! We stopped by here, a group of TEN, on our way home from the lake. They were super nice. We didn’t arrive until 45 mins from closing but they didn’t make us feel bad about a big group that close to closing. They were fast. Food was amazing. Pizza was great! HOMEMADEGELOTTO! But the best was the watermelon sorbet! Unbelievably fresh and tasty. Can’t wait to go back

Tonight, in addition to our wonderful Pizza, we finished with Katie’s Homemade Gelati… Tonight’s Delight was Sweet Corn! I’ve never had a starchy vegetable as a frozen dessert, but what A Treat! Nona’s usually has 15 or so flavors, so it’s always hard to choose!

This place is awesome! The food is authentic and the price very reasonable– lived up to the 5 star rating. Will be back to try the items that we had no room for on this first trip.

Love Nonas. The pizza is fresh and full of flavor. Calzones make the kiddos happy and you just can’t beat the chicken marsala.

I have to say. Nona Lisa never disappoints. I am currently eating my homemade gelato that I got to-go from my meal earlier. The pizza has fresh ingredients and makes you want to eat until you feel like you may explode(hence why my gelato was to-go). Also, The owners and staff make you feel like family. Dr. Katie Smith is the friendliest business owner you will ever meet. You must eat here if you have not before. YUM!

Great pizza. Nice atmosphere. Love a spring day on the front sidewalk. There is also a cool little bistro table outside that seats four and has a cool private feel.

Nona Lisa is our favorite restaurant. Amazing, fresh food. Friendly, welcoming people. Relaxing atmosphere. Our favorites are the Nona bread, fire bread, Hawaiian pizza, quattro formaggio pizza, caprese pasta, and any gelato. Everything we’ve had has been delicious. Go try it!

The pizza was very good. The buttered crust is a nice touch. The sauce has its own unique flavor. The shop is very small and if you’re riding the train in call ahead and pay at the register. If you’re not on the train, avoid the place when the train is in town it’s a nightmare It’s a great little shop. Very fun. The owner was very nice and the guy behind the counter was super friendly. It’s worth the stop. It’s good pizza but it’s not the best in TN as I had heard.

First time to try this cute little place… I had the Calzone– absolutely delicious! One of our party had the pizza and it was amazing too. All fresh ingredients and made to order. Cute décor inside too. Love the red sauce. Will be back!

This is the best pizza I’ve had in Tennessee. In fact, the only other pizza I’ve had that was better was Lombardi’s in NYC. GEM!!!
