I always knew the beer was great here but now I know that the food is great too! Tried the 3 degrees of Kevin Bacon and I think this is my new favorite burger. Paired well with The Juice and Black IPA(both Skewed brews)!

Top notch beer. Barkeep seems to know his shit or at least has a persuasive opinion. Oddly tucked away inside a mall. Tacos on Tuesday! Enjoy!

Horrible Service. Our waiter only came to our talks 4 times! We needed refills never, finally came over 20 mins after we got our food… I needed more cause since the pizza was bland and dry, i was done the pizza before i could ask. The mac and cheese was small and overpriced. It taste like it came out of box. The only good thing was the manger took 10% off for the bad service. I will not go back.

I like this place, have only been twice. first time was good, second time could have been better. My fries were burned. I like that this place is a craft brewery. I enjoy their beer-mosas. The only thing I don’t like about the place is they are slow. I don’t know what the technicalities are, but there I have only seen one person really waiting tables and it takes awhile for guest to get served. When we asked about the«12 beers of Christmas».asking what it was(we asked an older/middle-aged woman who was the hostess) and her response was«what about it?» Like why are we asking or we should already know(this was our first time at the place when we asked).kind of turned us off. My husband loves craft beer and the food is good. Just looking from the outside it seems like they only have one person working.

I want to give them a 3 for food but 4 stars has been earned as they have a skilled brewmaster spinning a web of great product. I love their beer selection. Not the best I have ever seen or drank but for the location(in the salmon run mall) it’s pretty good. When I come in I always get their house made imperial style IPA and the steak salad. All I can a about the salad after having it 4 different times is it is deliciousness but it lacks in consistency every single time. 1st day it’s near perfect in presentation and quality. 4 days later for lunch is has way less meat and no cherry tomatoes. 5 days after that the salad greens are overflowing and I get 1 cherry with almost no meat. 5 days after that(The last time) I had it it was near perfect. Maybe it’s a back of the house chef issue? Anyway I will always come back for their wings, pizza, nachos and of course beer.

I’ve been here a few times and I can honestly say I love it! The service is good, and the food is great. A little pricey but you get your money’s worth. Also it’s in the perfect spot! Great place to have a beer or two and pass the time. And they brew their own beer. Which is pretty cool in itself.

Really enjoyed this experience. Good selection of beers on tap although their signiture brew was not one of them. The grilled chicken on a pretzel role was delish! Friends loved the Howard burger.

We were 5 adults who all ordered burgers and a bowl of pumpkin soup. The soup came(after we asked for it to be brought out first) in a LARGE bowl and tasted kinda weird. We all tasted it an were unanimous — weird taste. We waited almost an hour for our burgers. The place was not full. Maybe 40% occupancy. This is the second time one couple with us visited this place and they also waited a long time for their orders. There is no excuse whatsoever for orders to take almost an hour. The burgers were decent and at least cooked the way we asked, but they were not worth the long wait.

a brewery, in a mall? surgery, in an opera? there’s minimal signage in the shopping center that Skewed is located in — both outside and inside the mall itself — but it’s a solid find. they were out of a few of their own brews — reducing our options to 6 out of 8, though there were plenty of other regional craft beers available as well. but — get this — on Thursday nights, pints of Skewed’s own brews are only $ 2.50. TWOFIDDY. reduced options or not, that’s a bargain that no sane person could pass up. I tried the amber ale and was thoroughly satisfied. had some sips of the others and was really only impressed by the Juice IPA, while the others seemed decent enough. we split some duck wings — yeah, go big or go home — in both the maple/buffalo and Thai chili varieties. bangin’. as for dinner, the grilled chicken with gruyère, caramelized onions, baby spinach and garlic aioli was excellent, packed with flavor and served on a pretzel roll. crispy fries on the side. rest of the menu looked good — lots of options for burgers, sandwiches, and personal pizzas. while it’s a small place, they do take reservations, and our server(Mike) was great at his job. total bill for 7 goons was 220, not bad. it’s a bit odd that the food was excellent while the beer was just good. still, Skewed is a solid brewpub if you’re in the area, and the price for beer on Thursdays can’t be beat.

I will start by saying… don’t go there thinking you are going to have a menu like at TGIFriday or equivalent. My wife, I and our 4 yo son went there for dinner and were more than disappointed. Things just started badly when they didn’t have the N/A beverages in the menu. The whole place just kind of screamed«hole in the wall bar». Which is great for going out with the boys or girls. It is not family friendly. These days, just about any place you go has the little 3 pack of generic crayons and at least a front and back sheet of paper to color on. They had nothing, just the four selections for food on the back side of the menu. My son had the pepperoni pizza. It tasted like one on the Chef Boyardee pizzas that you make from a box at home. We’ll move to our meal. I had some Kevin Bacon burger. Maybe I didn’t read it properly but it was definitely not as imagined. It was basically a bun, a patty, some sauce that I didn’t even taste and then the bacon part… two slices of battered and deep fried pieces of bacon. The bacon tasted like it was sitting out for a while before placed on my plate. I could understand if it was just plain bacon and it was precooked and placed under a warmer but not something deep fried. Normally, even if I don’t like it, I finish my food. I didn’t this time and I think I know why. The beer wasn’t great. I had Rick’s Wit, which was a wheat beer. I drink a lot of wheat beers and that was one of the worst. The kicker was that never said anything to the waitress about the beer tasting like crap but she clearly saw that I wasn’t drinking. I had her take my plate away with over half a burger on it. She had to have seen that I had drank less than a quarter of the beer at the end of my meal. Never once did she ask us how our food was and never once did she ask me how the beer was and turn around and offer to bring me something else when I say it sucks. My wife had a fish sandwich that apparently was tasteless… she didn’t finish hers either. I’m done, don’t go for food or service.

Duck wings were great and something we had never had. We went in at nearly 10pm and while they were getting to close the kitchen they still made us food. We also had piping hot pretzel sticks with beer cheese which was outstanding. Nachos were good too.

I sometimes wish this was not in the mall, I would love to sit outside and enjoy a beer… However, it is very nice to grab a beer right before or after a movie if you have the time to kill. Must try one of the skewed beers of course and their pretzels.(quick snack) Enjoy.

An unlikely place to find such a good selection of beer, grub, and cocktails. This was my first time having duck wings and the house made chili sauce was very satisfying. Unfortunately they were out of Whistle Pig Rye Whisky, but at least they have it on the menu. Next to Wise Guys Italian restaurant in Chaumont, this may be some of the best food in the water town area and the service was excellent.

My husband and I had come in on a Wednesday night for wing night before and really enjoyed their wings. We decided to stop in for a quick bite before a movie. We decided to split a few appetizers and were very disappointed except for the wings. The wings were still good but the other two were SO disappointing! We got the perogiees and first of all they were 10 dollars for five bite size pieces and they were not anything to write home about. Tasted just like the ones I can buy at the store. Not worth it! We also ordered the nachos. When they first came out, they had forgotten the chili, sour cream, salsa, and the cheese was not even melted. I mentioned this to our server who then proceeded to bring out salsa, chili, and sour cream in separate containers. I sort of just looked at her, and mentioned the cheese not being melted and she then was like oh I can take them back and have them make it all together. When they did come out they were good but lacked chips. The chili was good on it. I don’t thing we will be back unless it is wing night.

We were a party of three with no disappointments. First I sampled two pale ales before I realized they weren’t brewed by them. I sheepishly asked to try The Juice. The wait staff are super friendly and gracious. Never ran out of water. Happy to bring another sample and the«Skewed» Juice was so good I had another with lunch. We decided to try the Wednesday wings, buffalo style and they were perfect, juicy, right amount of celery and chunky blue cheese. They brought our lunch orders after we finished the wings and the plates were cleared. Perfect timing. I am not a fan of having your food arrive while you are still talking and catching up over an appetizer and a beer. Now for the best part. The Kevin bacon burger. It has a name more cleaver than that, but it was delicious. The bacon was batter coated and fried with a bacon aioli and a jam. The flavors blended and were indescribably good. My sister ordered the haddock sandwich and usually only eats the fish, she ate the whole thing! I suggest you order a good beer and take your time choosing what to eat; there are many great choices.

I’ve been frequenting Skewed since they opened and it was love at first visit. Everything about this place is on point… The atmosphere, food, beer and cocktails, and most importantly, their wonderful staff! If you haven’t tried Skewed, you need to! I’ve always been a huge fan of their food, but the new menu that was released yesterday is PHENOMENAL. I love their burgers, their appetizers are amazing, pizzas are always a good choice, but their Mac-and-cheese is my absolute favorite. Also, if you’re a beer kinda guy or gal, this is your place. They have a great beer list full of IPAs(who doesn’t love those!) but their Skewed brews are a must-try as well. Although I love the food and beer, the atmosphere and service here is what brings me back time and time again. Stop on by, you won’t be disappointed.

I stopped in before going to a moive a few weeks ago. the beer selection was ok. the house beer seemed pretty fair, its better than a micro-craft, but it has a ways to go. the service can be hit or miss, but the fact they are in a high traffic area i cant say i myself would do any better. overall, 3.5 stars

Skewed has a ways to go. Their own beer just isn’t very good; everything I tried suffered from either off flavors from a poor brewing process or poor craftsmanship or both. They have some solid guest taps though, and they allow you to create a sampler from their guest taps, which is a nice feature. Other than that, their food menu is hit or miss — the duck wings were a hit(nice texture and flavor) and the lobster roll was a miss(nearly tasteless). The atmosphere is nothing to write home about either; the brewery is located in a mall and basically has the atmosphere of a brewery located in a mall. They went with a bit of an open floorplan to the food court, which doesn’t make any sense to me. Service was generally good. Overall, they have a long ways to go before I’d be excited about returning, though you could do worse for options to grab a bite to eat and a beer before a movie.

My husband and I had lunch here recently on our way to Rochester for a wedding. I thought that the food was really good and reasonably priced for a pub inside a shopping mall. Since it was a Wednesday, it was Wing Day($ 0.50 a chicken wing and $ 1 a duck wing). We ordered 10 chicken wings to start(we chose the maple-buffalo sauce). We were pleasantly surprised to see that we actually got 12 chicken wings(but only charged for 10). The wings were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They were piping hot and full of maple-y goodness. They were a little spicy which we didn’t expect but loved nonetheless. If I lived in Watertown, I would so go here for Wing Day on a regular basis! I had the Brie-licious Sandwich($ 9) which was grilled chicken breast, peach preserve, brie cheese, caramelized onions and mixed greens on a grilled sourdough bread. I loved the sandwich except for the overly buttered bread. The bread was soaked in butter and my fingers got all greasy from holding the sandwich. The bread actually looked translucent from all the butter. I would have preferred the sandwich to be on toasted bread and not grilled if grilling = so much butter. The peach, brie and chicken tasted delicious together. I’m going to have to try this combination at home.(Note that the online menu says they use fig preserve, but the in-store menu says peach preserve and I got peach in my sandwich). I chose the Italian salad as my side. It was excellent. It was fresh mixed field greens, carrots, tomato, marinated red peppers, black olives, shredded cheese and croutons. I had the balsamic vinaigrette on the side and it was tangy and delicious. It was the tastiest side salad I’ve had at a pub. It was also a decent size(not just a few forkfuls). My husband originally wanted the daily special(a roast beef sandwich) but they ran out of roast beef, so he had the Turkey Club($ 8.75). The turkey was thick slices of real turkey(not thinly sliced deli meat). The sandwich also had bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato and onion. It was in a kaiser(not a triple-decked sandwich). He had it with fries. I didn’t try his sandwich, but he said it was great. I did have some fries though. They were battered and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like them. The fries came in a little metal cylinder. My husband had one of their brewed beers(Sorry, I know nothing about beers, so I don’t know which one it was, and he doesn’t remember). Before ordering it he said that if it was really good he would buy a case. He did not buy a case. Service was super friendly and the server checked in on us appropriately. Do not be turned off by the fact that this place is in a shopping mall. It is not overpriced or gimmicky. It has good food at good prices.
