Local history brought to life. An amazing collection of antique farm machines and great docents who bring it all to life. A true local treasure. Worthy of a few hours.

We stumbled upon the museum by accident when we attended a car show on the neighboring fairground. What a true gem! The volunteers welcomed the kids and encouraged them to take part in the bean bag toss, throwing horseshoes, the sack races, pumping water the old fashioned way, riding tractors, milking fake cows, going for a real hay ride and more. The children not only enjoyed every minute and couldn’t stop talking about it on the way home. It was a nice reminder of how simple times use to be and how we don’t need fancy thing-a-ma-jiggers for entertainment. Sometimes simplicity can be the most fun. If you have little ones, this is a must do. I think that they called the event Second Saturday. Check it out and add it to your«must do» list. Just make sure to pack a little cash to make a donation to keep this exhibit going.

This is a great place– informative, fun, not too big as to get boring, friendly volunteers, and best of all it is a good cause! This is an all volunteer crew making an effort to record and preserve the agricultural history of this chunk of California. There are old tractors, tools, etc around the grounds in «barns» and inside there is information about the people, animals, crops, and land of this area. Many old historical photos show what areas looked like then, such as the Scott’s Dairy on Glenview Dr in Scotts Valley. I’m visiting from out of state(from a farm in Wisconsin) and happen to be staying in a house on Glenview Dr in SV, so this was a really interesting way to see the difference time has made on the land and farming of this area. It’s free to go, but please give the $ 2 they ask for if you can! Remember, it’s all volunteer– even the restoration of the tractors is done by volunteers.
