The BEST place to get sushi in Santa Cruz county. I love everything about it. The service is exceptional and the food is even better. Kevin and Gee go above and beyond to make sure your sushi experience is the best!

This place is DELICIOUS and the service is great! If you go you have to try the Crunchy Magana with a soy wrap.

We love sushi. I don’t claim to be an aficionado and I don’t know much about japanese food or culture, but I have had a fair bit of sushi in a lots of places and some truly fine places(at least by cost, décor and reputation.) The one place that when it is mentioned EVERYONE says ‘LETSGO’ is Imura. Great great food, reasonably priced, outstanding service and nice place without being overly fancy. This place is a sure thing.

This is our go-to sushi place. My favorite is the Angry Kevin and jalapeño poppers. The sushi is always fresh and beautifully presented. The rolls are large and they do not ‘over sauce’ them like we have found at other sushi places. Will be back over and over!

Found this popular neighborhood restaurant on Unilocal while driving back to the Bay Area from Monterey. Surprised to find fantastic Japanese food in Watsonville! There are no hot towels to clean your fingers or chopstick holders, it’s pretty no frills, but I had a delicious bottle of cold sake with a cute little sake cup. I got a seaweed salad and a rainbow roll. It was so much food that I could hardly finish but it was really good. A perfect meal to put me back on the road.

Love to go here whenever I’m in town. Wide variety of rolls and each one I’ve tried — has been delicious! The wait staff is very friendly and accommodated our big group without any issues. This place can get quite busy so try and get there late for lunch or early for dinner.

Kevin, the owner is about the service for sure. I’ve eaten here a hand full of time over the last ten years or so. I’m just not stoked about the presentation and style of the food. There not at all traditional and there less than authentic. So they are good for what they are. A non traditional hip Japanese /Korean, TV’s on the wall, loud, hang out. The food doesn’t have to have a standard other than OK and it’s that. So for me, a beer and a hand roll.

Amazing place, with great food and an awesome staff. I’ve been to Imura many times, and I can honestly say that I’ve always left satisfied. They have a great selection of food, including Japanese and Korean speciality dishes, along with a wide variety of makimono/sushi rolls that are all delicious in their own way. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is great. The décor is well done, and the feel is just right for a friends/family setting. The dining area has plenty of seats, and the sushi bar fits about 10 – 12 people comfortably. The staff at Imura is exceptional. They are extremely friendly and do a great job at making you feel welcome. The sushi chefs are knowledgable, and it’s always a great time having conversation with them. I’d recommend anyone looking for a great dinner/night along with delicious Japanese food/sushi to come here.
