1. Cerakoted a barrel for me. Done perfect, reasonable price. 2. They worked on my crappy Turkish/Mossberg OU triggers. Triggers are clean and crisp now at 3.5 lbs. 3. I had a Grip Reduction done on G3G17, they did a great job. 4. I have a Spanish Ugartechea Model 30SXS. One of my «babies». The firing pins were flattened from use so they built new ones and heated treated them so I will not have the same problem again. Lastly, turn around times and pricing have been reasonable. I have been very happy with Wisconsin Tactical and wish them continued success. Paul in Richfield.

I went to a sportsman’s event at Fox River Christian Church this last weekend. The WI Tactical guys had a booth there. They did a demo on how to build a AR, completed the build, then donated it for a raffle. I won the AR, what a great day. Had to pick it up at their shop, did the paper wok and was on my way. The AR shoots great, now it’s time to buy some goodies. I would go to them first from now on… thanks again WI Tactical

IFYOUWANT A DISHONESTANDARROGANTGUNSMITH… Shop here. I began an AR-15 build with them. The first person I dealt with was nice and knowledgable, however getting him to return prices and information to me took weeks. I purchased one of their nickel boron bolt carrier groups for my rifle. After my first test run of 100 rounds I cleaned the rifle and noticed the bolt had large areas where the nickel boron coating had flaked off. I was very disappointed in the quality of this piece. When I went to return it to the store the guy at the counter had to get one of the owners(I think it was one of the owners) to work with me. He explained to me as if I were five years old that that coating is very thin and it is normal for it to flake off after just a little use. He then went as far as to pull the bolt out of his machine gun(yes it was a full auto, but he liked to use the term machine gun A LOT) to compare the amount of wear on the bolts. Apparently a good gunsmith thinks a semi auto with 100 rounds through it should be worn the same as a full auto with thousands? of rounds through it. He also explained that all nickel boron bolts flake like that right away, regardless of the manufacturer, and anyone’s I buy will look the same in the same amount of time. After a lot of back and forth they did reluctantly do the right thing and refund me my money, but it was a challenge. I have a friend who also has one of the Wisconsin Tactical nickel boron bolt carrier groups, with about 200 rounds on it, it has a lot of coating flaking off also… However his Black Rain Ordinance with over 500 rounds on it, and my new Fail Zero with over 200 on it are both in perfect condition. I guess the owners of this shop have never heard of these companies to know that rifle products are not supposed to look like they are a hundred years old after only a hundred rounds. I was disappointed in the product, and a simple refund would have been fine, and maybe even an ’ I’m sorry we got a bad batch of these parts’ I would have been fine, but to have to deal with the arrogance, the bogus dog and pony show of look at my machine gun parts, and the flat out lying of they all do that its normal was too much. Shouldn’t you be able to trust your gunsmith??? I will post a picture of their bolt and the Fail Zero bolt, which by the way cost me a whopping $ 14.00 more…

Worst gun shop I’ve ever been to. The owner or, whoever the guy was behind the counter was an absolute wanker. I walked into the store, waited almost two minutes at the counter before anyone showed up, and when he did, there wasn’t any«welcome» or, «hello, what can I get you?» Nope. It was«what do you want» in a very disgruntled tone. Really? Whatever, I had stopped in to buy a few small parts for an AR-15 build, basically some small springs/detents/misc parts that. ACCORDING to their website can all be purchased individually. Apparently not. I asked the gentleman if I could purchase said parts, and he grunted, pointed at their own bagged parts kits, and said, «there» I told him nicely I didn’t need anything in there except for the detents/springs and bolt catch. He responded with«you want those, buy a parts kit» Why the hell should I spend $ 68 bucks for 5 dollars of parts??? Along with this guys attitude, and obvious attempts at highway robbery… I will never return, nor will I ever recommend this absolute craphole of a business. They aren’t likely to last long. I’d give it negative stars if I could.

The guys at Wisconsin tactical really know their stuff. Friendly and knowledgeable is how I’d describe them. The best part about them is their prices. They are not out there to rob you blind. They have the best prices in our area and most of the time they even beat Internet prices. The only down fall is that they need more room, but I’m sure that will come soon. Take care all and I hope my review helped!
