Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waxahachie

I was really pleased with this hotel; it has everything you would expect of an HIE, but what I really appreciated was the responsiveness of staff and attention to detail. They went out of their way to accommodate some requests I had before check-​in, recognized my Platinum status, and were very kind to me and the guests I brought.
Thank you to Kenzie and the entire HIE staff for going above and beyond for us.

I have stayed at a HIE once before in the last few years and I recall thinking it was alright for the money and given the alternatives it was a gem. In full disclosure I am a hotel snob and do not generally stay anywhere below 4 stars. We were out of town for opening weekend of dove season near a friend and his house was full. Rather than drive and hour back to the house we checked in here.
I have to say, I was thrilled with the price and the quality of this hotel. I don’t know if this applies to every HIE but I would sure as heck give them a chance anytime I was on the road. I am generally a huge Hampton Inn fan but the price differential is not worth going to Hampton when this is nearby. The breakfast service was very comparable to Hampton and agin, for $ 40-​$ 50 cheaper, I will do this all day.

AWAYS our favorite place to stay in Waxahachie. Rooms are clean & staff is friendly. They make us feel like family. Good location to stores & restaurants.
