This Waxahachie Walgreens pharmacy is a joke. I’ve never been able to have a wait that was less than 20mins. They are either short staffed year round, or just incompetent. Not to mention the main pharmacist is extremely rude and has a «don’t bother me with questions» attitude. I love Walgreens as a store and used them in Dallas exclusively,. When I moved here I figured the transition would be easy, NOPE. I finally stopped allowing myself to waste time here and transferred to Target. So much easier and timely! Keep in mind I’m only referring to the Pharmacy. The store and its employees are great. Just the pharmacy is a RUDE JOKE.

I just had my very negative experience for the third time and all three times were in there prescription pick up drive thru. I am no longer a cutomer of walgreens in in Waxahachie Texas. I have never been treated so rude before by a business where I’m choosing to spend my hard earned money. They treat you not like you’re a customer but like you’re inconveniencing them by driving up and trying to fill a prescription or pick up prescription. It was sometime in January I drove up to the drive thru to drop off a prescription, now me being an adult I understand first come first serve so the people on the other side of me were being helped first and I was supposed to be next in line. But instead the pharmacist waited for the second car to drive up and help them and left me sitting there I have been waiting for seven and a half minutes by then so when I press the call button to address the issue she ignored it twice. She literally made complete eye contact with me and turn the call button off she didn’t say a word to me. So finally when I got fed up with the situation I continuously press the call button and finally when the car drove off she then tried to help me by saying what do you need?. I just drove off I couldn’t believe how rude and unprofessional she was. Which would bring me to this last time two days ago I drove up to the drive thru this time no one was there I drove up to the drop off box and as soon as I tried to drop off my prescription the little window closed down mind you, the pharmacist is at the window I can see her clearly she’s working on her computer completely ignoring me so I sit there for a couple of seconds and I press the call button she makes eye contact with me and then goes back to her computer, so again I pressed the call button and again nothing but rudeness. So finally after two or three minutes of sitting there staring at her she asked me if I need to drop off a prescription I’ve been told her she could have asked me that about 2 – 3 minutes ago instead of ignoring me she proceeded to tell me if I didn’t need to drop off a prescription or pick something up then why was I in her drive through?. I could not believe how rude and unprofessional these people are at Walgreens in Waxahachie Texas. I have never took the time out to give anyone a bad review ever in my life even though I’ve had many negative experiences but this is been an ongoing situation and I could no longer ignore it. If you need prescriptions sure you can go to Walgreens but if you want to be treated like a customer or even appreciated for spending your hard earned money don’t go to Walgreens in Waxahachie.

Better deal on prescriptions at HEB. Everyone in this store is so busy shooting the bull that they can’t see when a customer needs assistance. Best to go somewhere that WANTS your business enough to earn it.
