We ate at Capt Joes Seafood in Waycross GA Last Saturday. Our Waitress was Suzanne. To start with both of us had salads from the Salad Bar. Capt Joes has a real nice salad bar but I really wish that they wouldn’t put hot plates out for your salad. Here I am trying to Eat cold crab salad on a hot plate which of course means the salad(Crab, chicken, or Pasta) is hot on the bottom. Same thing for my your garden salad. The plates should either be cold or room temp. Not Dishwasher hot. We both had the Fantail Shrimp Dinners with Onion Rings and they were great. I hate Onion Rings that have a ¼ inch of breading and the ones at Capt Joes were great because they had a very light breading. The shrimp also were great. From the time we sat down till the time we left, If a plate made it to the table, that’s where it stayed. Evidently the wait staff, or at least ours, are not required to pickup empty plates. They were not overly busy so the plates didn’t stay because she didn’t have time to pick them up.
