Had a great experience buying our baby furniture and stroller from here. The staff is always incredibly attentive and courteous.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I was very disappointed as this place was a recommendation. My husband and I ordered our baby’s furniture on black friday and we’re told it would be 2 – 3 weeks which would give us plenty of time since the baby wasn’t due until the 16th of January. It’s January 14th and my furniture is finally arriving today. Every time I called for status updates I was told«it should be here soon». They blamed the delay on Christmas and New Year’s but I was originally told it would arrive well before that. I was also told I would be given a 2 hour window for delivery. No window was given. They said the day of the delivery I would receive a time. Well, had I not called, I wouldn’t have found out that they were about ready to leave to deliver my stuff. Horrible customer service! Save yourself the stress(especially if you are pregnant) and get your furniture from Buy Buy Baby. Luckily my baby did not come early and should be able to sleep in her own crib now.

had a bad customer service experience at lakeland due to the sales girl Gretchen. Ordered a few of the most expensive furniture pieces they sell for a new baby. Problem piece I am talking about is a convertible crib, which goes from a crib, to toddler bed, to full size bed. Wife and another person was in store on first occasion, got sold on the details about the crib, features it does, etc. I went back, same thing, got sold on the features, the crib does all this, etc. etc, Neither time being told nor offered, that to do these featured things you need to spend another $ 500+ on 2 pieces(rails/conversion kit). The demo crib in the store, even the brand/model brochure we were given by the sales girl with the price, says absolutely nothing about buying extra pieces, you are made to believe you are getting what you see in front of you. Everyone was under the impression that the couple grand+ we were spending was it. Placed the order, this is when the problems start with this sales girl, who by the way is the one who sold us the furniture. Called 9 – 10 weeks later to get a status update on delivery, girl was nasty on multiple occasions to both myself and wife, like she was being annoyed to answer our questions. I finally get the furniture delivered, the delivery guys were very nice and courteous. When the guy was setting it up, I ask him just to show me how it open up and converts. He says you need the conversion kits to do that. I’m like what, we were never told that or offered that. I call the store up and speak with this sales girl, again she is nasty. I said you never told us we needed this, she’s like you should’ve known, then proceeds to give me prices. Cmon… She then goes who sold this to you, I’m like, you genius. I don’t know, maybe this is a management problem, like a sign should be put out saying what you see isn’t what you get. Or train your sales girl better, don’t have her sell you on features you’re not getting unless you lay out more cash after the fact without ever being told before the sale.
