#Wowzers Thanks to Flames and especially our amazing server Brittany for making our 10th anniversary dinner wonderful! We have a long distance relationship due ro our careers, so we get very little date time. We initially stopped at a different establishment, cool place, but we were not digging the vibe, didn’t feel right for our special occasion, so we left. Unsure of where to go, but wanting to keep it local, I remembered a tip from one of my regular patrons at work who said that Flames has great food. I knew when we entered the building that this atmosphere was perfect. The booths are cozy and private, the décor and ambiance are warm and appealing. Brittany was very charming, helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. I really dig your biscuits. Thank you for the salad being an actual salad blend with actual greens(not just iceberg) including the refreshing addition of cucumber plus that yummy ranch. It is a relief to get a salad that does NOT look like the one I can pour out of the prepack from the grocery and to get ranch with good texture that doesn’t have a funky aftertaste! Special thanks to the cook for accepting my swap of chicken for beef on my entrée. I apologize, I just had beef on the brain :) I know that can be annoying when you have created a menu with a flavor pallette in mind. The chipotle dressing was delish, loved the seasoned fresh fries. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My date was overwhelmed with authentic flavor of his ettoffee plus the on point texture of the rice but especially the shrimp and crawfish. Happy sounds and exclamations kept coming from his side of the table. Many establishments have trouble with that perfect seafood cook point of done but not rubbery/chewy…y’all know your stuff! The prices are AMAZING. The bar selection was perfect, varied, well priced and very complimentary to the menu. Thank you for carrying our 2 favorite local brews: Blood & Honey(Revolver) and Cannonball(Panther Island). We will be back to try the crab cakes, stuffed flounder, fried cheesecake! Y’all made our night, we are grateful and feel blessed to have enjoyed such a wonderful, memorable meal with such an awesome host, Miss Brittany! Cheers y’all!

I want to give this«nasty» restaurant ZERO start but I could not do it, I did not have the choice! The experience was NOTGOOD; and NASTY I would not recommend this Restaurant to any person! The Mahi Mahi entrée I ordered it was listed in the menu as «crusted lime» it was so SOGYANDFROZEN tasted, awful like OLDFROZENFISH(from Costco) it had so much sauce over fish you could not see the fish(bad tasted in all) the vegetables was NASTY as it could be, SOGY and taste like thaw out in the microwave, wet n soft! My husband lobster was dry and NOt flavor, the bake potatoe was over cooked as well(if you mess up a bake potatoe, it’s not chance this restaurant could make it in the next 6 months of business operation! It was such a BAD dinning experience, I would NOT go back and I only live 5 minutes from the NASTYFLAMERESTAURANT! I wasted my time and money going there last Saturday evening! I usually don’t do reviews expecially if the reviews are bad(like this one) but I was so glad to let people know how awful and nasty food this restaurant serves the public! I did not want to bring our left overs to my dog afraid he’ll get sick and throw up the nasty food they served us! :-(

My parents and I came last night for Valentines Day. The wait was an hour to get our food. We get our food and it was very tasteless. Our steaks had NO flavor, just like they were pulled out of a package and thrown on a pan. the baked potato wasn’t hot. It wouldn’t even melt my butter. The lobster was cold and extremely chewy. The Green beans were crunchy. I could continue to tell you how bad the food was but you get my point. And the waitstaff was very impersonal and didn’t conversate much. I don’t recommend this place at all.

7 in our party. All agreed the food was good but wasn’t really hot when served. Server was engaging and kept our glasses full. Nice quite atmosphere which is nice for a change in this world of loud noisy restaurants. All in all we’ll be back.

The«flame» theme is overdone. I do not need to be reminded of what cartoon fire looks like 47 times on the menu and throughout the restaurant. That being said, the poor graphic design is irrelevant. Around 6 on a Friday night the restaurant was busy, but my parents and I were quickly seated. I wouldn’t say that the service was«good» — our waitress seemed uncertain — but it was incredibly fast. We ordered crab cakes and scallops for the appetizer without knowing about the delicious cheesy biscuits that would precede the dishes. According to my mom, an experienced crab cake critic, they were«not the best I’ve ever had, but had a cajun flare». Obviously… What did she expect? North-central Texas does not have crabs and we were at a cajun restaurant. Anyways, I thought they were pretty good but the pickles’ presence diminished its goodness. The scallops were decent but their texture resembled chicken nuggets; however, the rice was delectable. Also, my dad ordered oysters and had no health issues so they must have been pretty decent. The entrees were delivered before we finished the appetizers, so it was awkwardly fast timing. I ordered the redfish which came with rice and veggies. The rice was nothing special — could have come out of an Uncle Ben’s 90 second steamer bag. So, the actual fish filet was topped with some flaky and delicious sea dweller mixed with other food product. Honestly, it might have also been redfish but I’m no expert so I’ll leave it at sea dweller. The hidden fish filet itself was ehh, but I was satisfied with the scrumptious topping. Even though it felt as if were were being rushed in and out of the restaurant, the food was above par for Weatherford and the waitress was attentive and nice. In reality a 3.5 star rating would be more accurate, but seeing that it does not exist I’ll round up.

Penny W New Years Eve for 20, great service, timely service, food was delicious and very few glitches, amazing for this large of a crowd. Several have already returned and we’re going again this evening.

We decided to try Flames for New Year’s Eve since it seemed like a fairly upscale place. The décor was dark and intimate, and they had a New Year’s special on the chalk board. We stood at the hostess’ stand for about five minutes before a waiter came over to seat us. He was unable to find our reservations, but since he was a waiter and not the hostess, I give him props for not letting a customer wait unnecessarily. Anyway, he seated us, and then we spotted the other couple we were meeting already seated across the room. So, we got situated and ordered. The food was overall pretty good, the salads especially. We also liked the wine. My wife really liked her fish, although my steak was thin and a little tough, not what I would expect for a $ 30 entrée. I’d rather pay an extra 5 or 10 bucks and get a decent piece of meat. After all, I’m coming here for the experience, not a cheap date. The potatoes and green beans that came with the steak were pretty good, though. One of the main things that stuck in my head from this evening was the silverware. I noticed as I picked up my fork that it seemed kind of cheap, and sure enough, when I went to cut my steak, the fork bent. Not a big deal in itself, but it was the main thing that stuck in my head coming away from the restaurant.

Tried it for the first time tonight with my mom and my girls, now I wish I had tried it sooner. The Tilapia Lafayette was great and the fried shrimp were plump and tasty. The restaurant was clean and well staffed. I appreciate the fact that the kitchen crew keeps the fry oil clean, too many places don’t filter their oil enough and you can taste the difference. This is a great addition to Weatherford dining and because it is so reasonably priced we will add it to our rotation. Yea, no more driving to Fort Worth for quality seafood!

The ambience is very nice, good music! The food is good too… Servers are friendly… If it wasn’t for very slow service I would have given it 4 stars… I tried tilapia Lafayette, it was really tasty. And their bread is delicious(reminds me of Red Lobsters bread).

Food is very good! Service & waiter in the dining room is excellent! Today we tried the bar. The bar should be a great sports bar but the bartender on Sunday afternoon would rather talk than make drinks. There are only 4 people in the bar and the waiter had to ask her to pour our beers after we had asked him a 2nd time for beers.

When I rated this restaurant it was before I visited the ladies room. There was a sign on all the stall doors asking NOT to flush the toilet tissue but to throw in waste can inside the stall. How disgusting! To the owner of this restaurant: Call a plumber and get your sewer lines jetted out so you don’t have to ask your guests to do this. It tells me you are too cheap to get a problem fixed. This is the reason I most likely will not return to this restaurant. Makes me wonder what else is broken in this restaurant or if there could be other sanitation issues.

Came in during lunch and really enjoyed myself. Started with calamari, and my meal was the crab stuffed chicken breast with jalapeño cream sauce on a bead of mashed potatoes. Delicious is an understatement! Service was great and the food was incredible! Will definitely be back!

First time eating here. The food was really good and cooked to perfection. Would have gotten 5 stars except the food is served with the meat on top of the veggies and potatoes. And my wife didnt like that because it made the potatoes look greasy. They took it back and fixed it with no problem and did it quickly.

Always sit at bar. Good service. I’m probably old fashioned, but used to be when you ordered a drink they would put down a napkin, the bar where my drink was is covered in water. Ordered wings to share. No plates, no napkins, c’mon. Good drink prices. Good bar food menu. The wings are awesome. 5 tv’s. Good place. Older crowd.

I ordered the catfish special. It was a filet and crisp. It was good. It came with French fries and they we a little cold but I liked the seasoning. It also came with cheddar biscuits. We were told they were hot hot. Not they were cold. Bummer. I am unsure if I will return.

Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere. Shrimp kabob was seasoned well, fried catfish was melt in your mouth, garlic mashed potatoes were garlicky but good, I don’t usually like dirty rice but I liked theirs. Shrimp cocktail was good but pricey at $ 12 for 6 shrimp My food could have been hotter but my husbands was the right temp. Server was very nice. We would return again

They were super slow but the atmosphere is really warm and welcoming. The food is surprisingly bland. I had the lime crusted mahi mahi. As a mahi lover, I was super excited but poorly disappointed. The presentation was pretty and neat but the flavor was missing. Our server was very polite and fun to have though. I might be back to give it another try.
