Seeing Dr. Mott for the first time I was amazed that I had to sit and wait for almost 2 hours to be put in an exam room. I had asked after an hours wait if the Dr. was running behind and was told he was a half hour behind. I arrived at 3:00 for a 3:15 appointment and finally left at 5:20. The Dr. was fine but I am appalled at the lack of communication from the staff, When pressed, a staff member informed me that a Dr. supposedly had been running late so the other doctors took all of his patients. Most professionally run offices would have notified me when the wait appeared excessive and given me the option of rescheduling my appointment. The staff could have cared less. My time is just as important as the doctors and I feel it is bad business to put someone through that kind of wait to talk to the doctor for 10 minutes. I was there for a heart issue and when I left I felt that my blood pressure was off the charts. I realize Weatherford is a small town but we have many options for doctors just 20 minutes away in Fort Worth. If you are already stressed don’t go to these heart doctors. They will send you right over the edge.
