This office was recommended to me. The doctor was great. Unfortunately, I only saw her once and after that I only had contact with the staff. The whole experience was stressful and the staff is unprofessional. I regret having gone in the past and also having to call today. I do not recommend this clinic.

This is by far one of the worst offices I’ve ever been to. Dr. Johnson is incredibly rude with poor bedside manner. She also doesn’t ever return phone calls when nurses told me she wanted to speak with me. Called to make an appointment for blood work, said she needed to approve of the request by phone before she would schedule it and I’d be getting a call back within 24 hours. That was over a week ago. Not to mention the hour wait when you have a scheduled appointment and the rude receptionist that rolls her eyes so much I’m surprised she’s not blind yet. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. I won’t be returning. Ever.

Just called to try to schedule an appointment. I explained that I’m a new patient and am going through a miscarriage and i understand that she wouldn’t be seeing me before the completion of my miscarriage but would like to get established with a new Obgyn because I have been seeing a fertility doctor and need an Obgyn to!.. I kid you not. When the word MISCARRIAGE came out of my mouth she started laughing! Wth?! Who does that? That’s not even something to laugh about much less you lost a potential patient for ever. Even though I know she dosnt care. Her name was Becky. I thought the first person I talked to was kinda rude but I decided to call back and explain my situation a little more like its any of their business but whatever. I would love to call and speak to someone over there about that but seems like the reviews on this place no one cares!

The only reason I didn’t give five stars is the doctors here are very hard I get appointments with. That being said, the PA Dannette is available within about a week and is extremely nice. Awesome bedside manner and she is very knowledgable. My appointment was for 930 and I was done and out with prescription in hand by 1045. The office staff is nice and called me for a confirmation the previous day. I see there are some Unilocal on here from about 6 months ago that indicate poor customer service, but they must have gotten new staff because I found them to be efficient and friendly. :)

Wow. This place absolutely blows!!! I called to make an appointment and the girl who answers the phone(and leaves you messages reminding you of your appointment) is very hard to understand. She speaks quickly and runs her words together. To this day I don’t know if she is Yvette or Suzzette, but whatever. I arrive to the office and they have me down for a «Problem». When I told the girl that I was not there for a problem, but for something else, she then has to see if the PA(versus the doctor) can do what I am asking. Why the hell am I paying to see the PA, when I asked to see the doctor!!! They supposedly offer your test results on a website, but it has been well over a week now and my results are still not posted. I called their office and the girl who answered said that my results were fine, but not posted yet because the doctor hasn’t signed off on them. Really, I mean seriously? I will never come back here again.

I wish there were reviews on this place that would’ve prevented me from going here. Therefore, I wanted to write a review to help others be aware of the headache awaiting you at clear lake Obgyn. I had such a frustrating experience here that I get angry just writing the review! First, I showed up for my 3 pm appointment and was told the Dr «Hasn’t shown up yet.» Whenever she did show up it would’ve been at least an hour and a half wait. Am I wrong to think a phone call telling me the Dr hadn’t arrived and giving me the option to reschedule over the phone is standard procedure? I went back two weeks later for my rescheduled appointment. This is when I learned that the reviews on google are accurate– you would think they are operating a circus! I’m going to skip past the little things and go straight to the biggest problem. When it was time to check out the woman told me I owed $ 110 for my five minutes with the Dr. I politely asked her to explain how I owed $ 110. She was unable to tell be anything logical just that«that’s the code they gave me to enter.» She became very defensive and began spewing out that it was because of my deductible, and she personally called my insurance and that’s what they told her. When I explained that I didn’t have a deductible she repeated herself as if I wasn’t understanding. She then said she would call back my insurance and I could wait but it would take a while. So I waited. In the end, I owed a $ 20 copay. Much less than the $ 110 she was trying to say I owed. She then said the front desk was the one that told her I had a deductible– story completely changed. The whole visit from start to finish took over 2.5 hours. Needless to say, I will NOT be going back to this place and I feel sorry for all of their patients. Just because it’s a medical office doesn’t give them the right to lack in good olé fashion customer service! It is still a business after all.
