Solid fast food burger. Excellent fries. Plus they stopped playing the outrageously LOUD music at this location. Finally.

I’ve wanted to try 5 guys for a while, so my wife and I went to the Webster location. I wasn’t impressed, the meat was very greasy. Perhaps we were there on a bad night, don’t know but we won’t be returning. Some of the local hamburg places we feel are greatly superior to this chain.

Well I didn’t try all o the menu, but whatever i tried was simply the best… Especially if you want to try some veg burger(without meat) some day, this is the place… Their veg burger with mushrooms is just awesome… Also the complimentary peanuts are good…

Our family loves us some 5 guys. Each location we have tried(Greece, Webster, Pittsford) has been outstanding in both quality and service. My ONLY complaint, and so far it’s only been the Webster location, is that the music is too loud to even hear the crew calling your number. Great music station, but I’d like to be able to hear my wife and also know when our food is ready(don’t tell her, but the hearing the food part is more eagerly awaited)

Burgers are GREAT. For some reason the fries always seem soggy. I ask for them well-done to fix problem. That is all.

Five Guys is now my standard for what a really great cheeseburger should be. They whop Bill Gray’s butt and they make Charlie Brown’s and others a distant second as well. True, they don’t understand the concept of hot sauce. That’s a sacrilege here in Rochester, NY where I’m from. I didn’t know what the heck hot sauce was when I moved here a year ago. That strange combination of meat sauce on top of meat seemed really strange. Then it became a passion. We once spent an entire day with friends driving to more than 16 burger joints in own, having a fourth of a burger at each to determine what was really the best burger in Rochester(sadly, that place is gone and replaced by a really crappy Mexican restaurant but that’s another story). But if you order a cheeseburger from Five Guys with relish, onions, mustard, ketchup, and hot sauce(their hot sauce is Tabasco or a version thereof) it really is the gooiest, messiest, greasiest burger that you’ll ever love. I challenge you to it down after you take one bite. And of course the fries. The fries are a cut above(pun intended) the crap you get at the other burger joints here in Rochester. And the beauty about Five Guys is that their burgers taste the same no matter where you get them — a greasy McDonalds. Had one in Washington National Airport while we were on layover for a flight and damn if it wasn’t just as good as anything I’ve had elsewhere. Kudos to these brothers for getting the formula right!

I didn’t find anything unique or outstanding about Five Guys; the meal was merely OK. The french fry portions are generous and the cheese burger was cooked to temp. Five Guys has left no lasting impression and therefore it’s unlikely I’ll return or recommend it to others.

Although they have a short menu for a fast food restaurant, their burgers and fries are among the best you can get. The burgers are cooked to order, not reheated with the toppings you request. The burger reminds me more of a nicely cooked homemade burger than something from a fast food place. The fries remind me of the fresh-cut fries you would normally get at the state fair for $ 5; hot and crispy with ample amounts of malt vinegar or ketchup available. Their standard procedure is to fill the cup of fries and then add another scoop to the bag, so take it easy when you order the fries. If you order a large I hope you’re planning to share it with a friend.

Five Guys — Many locations, Ridge Road specifically — 3÷5÷10 Bellyman likes his coworkers. The team he is on is made up of similarly sized men(and one tiny female) who enjoy a good meal(the female appears to NOT appreciate a good meal). On this day, Belly Coworkers decided to head out to lunch, and despite Mrs. Bellyman making Bellyman a delicious and nutritious meal, he decided to tag along even though we hadn’t decided on a place. After bickering for a few minutes, we decided on Five Guys for burgers. Belly Family had gone to the Five Guys in Henrietta a few months back and hadn’t been overly impressed. I think we were simply overwhelmed by the ridiculous number of fries you are given(order a small, trust Bellyman. It’s NOT small! Two larges came in shopping bags. You know…“paper or plastic?” Yeah, THAT big.) But, Belly Cowokers had talked Bellyman into giving it another try a few weeks ago, and the second time was much better. The burgers are good. Are they the best burgers Bellyman has ever had? No, but they’re up there in the list. They’re not greasy, and always cooked very well. They come in a lunch bag, like Little Bellyman used to carry to school. They throw the cup of fries into the bag and then fill the bag with more fries until it looks like a stuffed, brown brick. These are tasty, also never greasy, with just enough crisp to make Bellyman’s teeth happy. But be warned: the cajun variety build to a crescendo of… well, let’s just say they’ll come back to haunt you… Bellyman also appreciates that they keep malted vinegar on the counter for those who like it on their fries. Verdict: Bellyman approves. Can you get a better burger? Sure. Are you SURE it’s going to be as good as the last time? If not, hit Five Guys. They’re consistently good.
