totally bummed. they are now CLOSED. Loved sitting out on the porch, and the menu was huge and kid friendly.

While sightseeing, decided to try. We should have gone to any one of the other restaurants nearby instead. Wanted to order the clam chowder(being on the east coast near the ocean, one would think the chowder would be home-made), the waitress was honest and told us the chowder was not. The onion rings we ordered as an app were the saving grace of the entire meal, crisp and fresh. We had the fried haddock, which wasn’t up to par. When we asked the waitress if it was fresh haddock she informed it was frozen. Who wants frozen fish when you’re in MAINE? !! Seriously ??? Even the cole slaw was awful, sour and had an odor. The waitress was wonderful and honest, even said she was sorry and wanted to bring us something else. I say skip this place and eat at a clam shack nearby.

Dinner on July 20th and had the twin lobster special. Overall dinner was great, good service and reasonably priced for height of the Maine tourist season. Will return.

Okay food, very crowded and very loud. Service is alright, could use some more training. I love the s’mores dessert definitely earns an extra star for it. It’s a kids restaurant what do you expect.

I hate to bring my review a star down, but I did not have a good server experience this time. Whenever we go here, we are a group because this place is really good for kids. I understand it is hard to handle a large group like us, but things were forgotten, the wait was longer than usual, the bill was wrong. The bucket o’ shrimp is a good price and I love the«make your own s’mores» dessert. I will continue to go here, but it will not be a «must go to» line up while in town.

Less than mediocre food, service was good. Gets VERY crowded. On vacation, we were trying restaurants that had lots of people — BIG mistake. Won’t go back again.

There is truly nothing good about this restaurant. Overpriced cafeteria food and just not clean at all. Yuck!!! Total tourist trap. Agree with Jacky F. and Tim B. — food is nasty and«pretty poor» is putting it nicely in my opinion. The lobster meat in my lobster roll almost certainly came from a freezer(the entire 5 tiny pieces of it I might add) as did my husband’s chicken which he remarked came«right out of the Encor bag»(and this from someone that doesn’t know how to cook!). I ordered a glass of house pinot gregio and it was served WARM. It took forever to get our dinner and our kid’s grilled cheese’s were cold with the cheese not even melted. Seriously, how do you mess up a grilled cheese? Save your money– this place is a dump.

Great food, good price, friendly staff, nice décor. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, kid friendly so it can sometimes be noisy. But since I have a little one it was appropriate.

We ate here around 4PM. One of two families in the restaurant. Food was great and arrived almost instantaneously(which was a given considering the lack of people at the hour). Based on the atmosphere it seems like it would definitely be a family friendly restaurant as they suggest.

An inexpensive place to bring the kids or any group that wants good cheap food. Fried fish was the order of the day when we met another couple, but I had the sausage & linguini just to try something else. All of the food was good, and we split a bottle of wine. This is not a very fancy place and it isn’t where you’d go to make an impression, but in the summer when hoardes of tourists take over and their kids need to refuel, this would be a good place to do it. You can even roast your own Smores at the table, but we didn’t.
