Clean fresh comfy room. Easy late check in (we had a long drive) and very affordable room! Friendly staff — pool was open into October, but too cold to jump in! Good location if you want to stay in South Coastal Maine

Rooms are clean and is very pet friendly. Friends and I have stayed her for an overnight trip on our way father north up in Maine., for the past 2 years. The bathrooms have been remodeled. The décor is s bit dated but well kept And very clean. At $ 90 for a convenient location, with size king bed, pet friendly room, it’s great! The beach is straight down the road, behind the motel, about 5 minutes by car. One side is pet friendly, the other is private.
They offer shuffleboard, lobster cookers in the courtyard for your use and a beautiful pool that I’m sure gets a work out in the warmer months. They are within walking distance to some eateries, must notably the little café to the left of the motel. I don’t recall the name of it but the breakfast was delicious.
N’er Beach is worth your hard earned $! They are what a motel should be. Clean, inexpensive, pet friendly and close to everything.

My folks and I used to stay here when I was a little kid. The owners have changed since, as has the staff, so I can’t comment on what they are like now. I will say, though, that it isn’t quite near the beach. It is probably closer to a 15 or 20 minute walk to the beach than the ten that they claim on their website.
On the other hand, the rooms are nice. It’s right on a trolley line during the summer. And they are somewhat dog/cat friendly, although not puppy/kitten friendly.
