This is a fun bookstore – stuffed full of books, though the organization is a bit haphazard and their selection still manages to feel limited. That said, they are in the middle of a move from a larger location(the one listed on this site currently) to their current shop at 23 Orondo, across the bridge in Wenatchee. As a roleplayer I was delighted to find a slim bookcase of role playing games, some of which are just not around anymore. The biggest recommendation for the store though are the prices. I was taken aback. most of the books there are between $ 2 – 4. I don’t know how they can afford it – but it’s pretty awesome for books I’d expect to buy for $ 30 – 40 new and at least $ 10 used.

Rating des Ortes: 5 East Wenatchee, WA
This used bookstore would get 3 stars in any other town, but in lil ol’ East Wenatchee it is as good as it gets. It’s got a good selection of best sellers and they only take books in good condition. The owner has a store parrot named Mr. Magoo. He calls me pretty and flattery will get you everywhere with me! She will also order anything with-in reason for you. The trade in policy is standard but fair. On a personal note the original owner of Odd-Hour Books was the sweetest old man ever. He named his business after the hours he was open to be available for his wife’s medical treatments. He was a wonderful inspiration for me. I adored him and he fostered my love of reading. It pleases me the new owner kept the name:)
