Delicious food, courteous service! Would gladly eat here every day! The salmon picatta was delicious and my Tiramisu dessert was heaven in my mouth! Be sure to make a reservation.

I had been told great things about this place but had not tried it, my husband could not get past the exterior look of the place. I finally convinced him to give it a try and we were both really impressed with the food. The quality/taste is very homemade not canned. The atmosphere is quite dated but not dirty. The service was excellent and the prices were fair considering the only other Italian places around are as much or more for less impressive food. If you eat smaller portions consider sharing, we are big eaters but shared an appetizer and entrée since we were just trying the place out. We left stuffed!

It’s been years since I have eaten there, but I liked it each time. The outside and inside is boring and not fancy. But the ‘getti and meatballs tasted as good as my mother used to make. Orders were large enough to take another meal home. Think I’ll go there again soon.

Come here for the food and family atmosphere. The portions are huge, ideal for sharing. The cheesecakes are homemade and delicious. Yes the décor is stagnant, but I’m there to eat. Probably the best summary I can give is my wife says it is the only place where she even enjoys the spaghetti. I enjoy the Italian sausage. I’m from Chicago and have been to some of the top rated restaurants in Chicago for Italian. I’ve paid more, lots more, and sat in more opulent surroundings, but I never enjoyed the food as much as Cortinos.

Family-owned, kind of slow service, but good food overall. It’s your basic Italian restaurant.

Bruschetta! I haven’t been to Cortino’s in over a year. This is a hangout for the older people methinks. I personally did not like anything Ive had besides the bruschetta you can’t go wrong. Their food is ordinary, and wonder how they have been able to stay open for so long. I went here with a coworker and he loves this place, anytime he wanted to plan lunch he would say, «Lets go try Cortinos, I like that Place.» This place need revamping, new tables, menus, menu items, better advertising. Don’t think this is some secret place that no one goes to because their food is soo good. Think Otherwise.

When you walk in, you get the feel of an old Italian restaurant that has never changed its décor since it first opened its door. When you get the menu and you look at the prices, you’re in shock to notice how expensive each entrée is. When you get the food and start eating, it makes you wonder if you’re really eating homemade authentic Italian food or something that was taken out of a package and microwaved for 8 minutes. It’s a little hard to tell but your mind keeps trying to figure it out. I really can’t complain about the service, but when I went, there were only 5 people there including my girlfriend and I. Maybe the fact that there was really nobody there should have given me a clue to get back in my car and get the hell out of there.
