We went here on a busy Friday night. We sat on the sushi side. It took 20 minutes to get our sushi, but it was worth the wait. They were very apologetic that it took so long and brought us an order of crab rangoons on the house. Everyone was very friendly and the overall experience was very positive. We will be back. Also, the firefly roll was amazing.

Had a great time at Ninja celebrating a family members birthday tonight. All the employees were super friendly and very helpful explaining different items. The Hibachi grill chef was funny yet professional. Very entertaining and did a wonderful job on cooking our various choices. The food was all delicious and everyone enjoyed their food and had a great enjoyable time. Will definately be going back again and again!

Short version: good sushi served promptly Long version: I’ve eaten here a few tijmes for dinner when I’ve been up that way for work reasons, and had great sushi every time. I normally get a roll, plus some red snapper sashimi. Both times everything was fresh and delicious. I usually follow that up with a green tea mochi, which is served kind of weirdly Americanized into a sundae type thing with whipped cream etc. I don’t find that appetizing, but I understand what they’re going for with it. Like any habachi restaurant, it can get noisy when they’re doing a dinner show, but they’ve got the hibachi tables in a separate room. Service is attentive and courteous.

We had reservations at 7… got our table at 8:05…then they sat our 12 people on half a table even after I asked for their manager… she would do absolutely nothing to make it better. .the plates were so crammed together… they refused to bring another chef out to cook for us. … they threw peas on a plate… on us they said… thank you for the cold peas. .the chef managed to serve our steak with the very same spatula he had just put raw chicken on the grill with. .needless to say I want eating it! To top it off… it took a half an hour to get our check. …this was 2nd bad experience there and I will not be returning. .for a third.

The food is great. The only thing is how they make you pay for fried rice. I love rice and it would be nice if you order extra then give us extra!!! Rice is cheap do I need to bring my own???

Giving it a 4 for the food. Service was average at best. As far as the hibachi«entertainment» it was perhaps average, but in fairness, the cook did not have much support from the wait staff. I will likely come back… but if they don’t deliver it will be sayonara! Meals were hibachi scallops, chicken, and shrimp and scallop combo. Shrimp were overcooked. Fried rice was great. Noodles were average. Selection and flexibility for kids options was less than average.

Went there last night for a family birthday celebration. The Hibachi Chef did a great job cooking for our large party. I have been there before with a much smaller group and seems like the portions were much bigger than they were last night. Food was very good but a bit pricey at over $ 23.00 a plate. Very fun and entertaining.

I really had faith that Ninja was better than they really are, but after today’s experience, I will never return. My first time there, the service was awful! They were ill equipped to handle our large party, despite our reservations and weeks planning. I’ve been back a few more times with decent experiences. Today I was denied service because I was a party of one. I felt discriminated against. I know that may seem silly, and I realize that it’s difficult to run the grill for only one person, but I’m a paying customer! I can’t help that I am single and run solo. I will never return to this or any Ninja location, and will be sure that all my single-dining friends know they aren’t welcome. Shame on you Ninja.

I took the family on a trip out to work’s HQ a couple of weeks ago. One night, we went out to dinner at Ninja Japanese Steakhouse, a sushi and hibachi restaurant in West Bend, Wisconsin. We got seated quickly, and served well. The kids and I all hit the hibachi, while Linda ordered sushi. The hibachi meals are filling. You get soup, vegetables, rice, and your protein. That was all good. Since my girls can’t seem to finish a meal, I got to try the shrimp and the chicken. Definitely worth eating. I’ve had the sushi here other times and it was great. And the drinks are reasonably priced, which makes cramming three kids in a hotel room for the evening easier to bear. I think we got the rookie hibachi chef. The dude dropped a spatula and just wasn’t as impressive as other hibachi chefs we’ve seen. When you go for teppanyaki, you’re going for the show as much as the food. He did cook with lots of fire though, which was fun for the whole family.

2 completely different dining experiences. If you eat on the hibachi side, you get an epic show by the hibachi chefs which includes free flowing saki. Expect to get doused and have food thrown your way. This is a very fun experience in a group. The other side is the sushi side which also includes other Japanese dishes. You can get the hibachi meal without the show. The sushi is quite good. The lunch prices are very good. The portions are the same as dinner. However the dinner prices can be much more expensive with the hibachi combos in the mid to high $ 20 range. All in all a treat to dine at.

My family and I eat here on a regular basis. Kids love the hibachi. Sushi is fresh and well prepared and always tastes great. Service is friendly as well. They have Japanese sodas so the kids really enjoy that for it is something unique. Have recommended this place to many friends and family.

Price middle range. I expected a better food but it taste not what I expected. Ordered teriyaki chicken and it did not have any taste at all. It tasted like broiled chicken. over 5 dozen onions fried in oil. I had to pull the chicken out of the bowl of oil and onion, request more yum yum dressing and salt & pepper so I had a little bit of taste to it. If you need to eat without salt and taste this might be a good place for you but I need to have a taste into food. Service is good tho

Great service, great food! Super fun atmosphere with excellent chefs that have a lot of fun interaction with the customers. We ordered Angel Roll sushi for appetizers; Shrimp, Scallops, and Steak dinners. All delicious!

Pretty Damn Great Especially if you are in the West Bend area. We Stopped for a very light lunch, two rolls each for around eight bucks. Fresh and tasty. Perfect salmon. Will be back for more authentic rolls. The staff were incredibly hospitable.

Stick with the cooked entrees and you’ll be fine. This place has very generous portions and reasonable prices. Attentive service and nice to my kids. We will be back.

If you have a taste for sushi and are in the West Bend/Jackson area, go ahead and give it a try. It’s not going to be the best or worse you’ve ever had. It is a little dark in the dining area. Service was good. Pricing is mid range.

This is west bend. The fact that it has sushi is pretty cool. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the fish was just fine. Nothing to write home to mom about but at the same time, its not like the ocean is just next door so maybe the sushi doesn’t melt in your mouth, at least it is affordable and edible. Next time I am in town, I will be sure to come back, if for nothing other then supporting a great idea in a small town.

I had several appointments in the West Bend area, and a W.B. Native offered to take me to lunch at Ninja. The décor is nice, the prices are reasonable, and the sushi was good(even the presentation was solid). Next time I’m in the area, I’ll be back.

This is a great place to go with a group of friends. The last three times we have been there we have had a blast. The Hibachi Chefs are great they put on a very entertaining show and make sure everyone gets involved including people at other Hibachi’s, and the Sake flows freely. There is a Sushi bar where you can sit and watch the Sushi chefs prepare the sushi, and have a drink while you wait to be seated.
