Accurately Controlled Environments

While I was quite pleased with the technician who visited my home, and the inspection and troubleshooting he did, I was very shocked at the level of markup on the parts that I was offered. I was told that a new capacitor was going to be about $ 170 ($ 25 for the exact item he used), and the fan motor was to be over $ 300+$ 70 for overnight delivery (fan motors cost $ 120-​$ 170 depending on where you bought from). While ACE is obviously in the business of making money (who isn’t), this was beyond typical markup that one would expect to pay.
Paid the service fee ($ 110/​hr) and sourced the parts on my own. Again, tech was great, taught me a few things about the system since I just recently bought the house, but unfortunately would not be able to recommend.

Absolutely horrible. If I could give them less than 1 I would. We have been living with a crappy high velocity forced air system which they installed 4 years ago. We complained immediately about its lack of cooling and they answered and sent someone out for a year, then refused. We had another contractor look at it and didn’t even understand why they put together the system that they put together. Don’t do business with them

We have been customers since 1992 and the service has always been great and economical. When we decided to replace our HVAC a few years ago we picked the system ACE sells because we were confident they would have quality.
