Nightmare install: Broken promises, lies, shoddy workmanship and poor quality. It took over six weeks to do a job that I was told would take one day. She is not on site. She measures, orders and sends workers come in to install the job unsupervised. The workers were habitually late and disrespected my home. They left my closet dirty and full of sawdust; tracked dirt and sawdust throughout my master suite; and never once cleaned up– not even after they declared themselves finished. Their idea of being finished was misaligned shelves, slanted tops, differing, heights, glue resign smears, drawers not closing, tops not bolted down, Sharpie scribbles, pencil marks, missing locks, and saw dust in the drawers. When I contacted Cathi, she was apologetic and arranged for the same workers to return– but a true professional would have been present for the install, inspecting everything with a fine tooth comb. The workers tried to blame things on my walls not being perfect but when my husband complained, magically they were able to adjust it out. Weeks afterwards, there has been several occasions where I have discovered poor workmanship that they attempted to hid behind shelf placement and extra closet rod caps: double drilled holes and misaligned shelving holes. Most recently I was almost hit by the top of a shelving unit that should of been bolted down. When I contacted her about the first set if double drilled holes, she sent the workers back. Now, she is ignoring my calls. She is not cheap but I would have paid double for a quality job and stress free process. I will have to rip this whole unit out and start over.
