Salon Matisse

I’ve been going to Steve, one of the owners, for several years. He is an expert with color and I always get exactly what I want with my cut and blow out as well. The salon is low key and low drama and they always work with me to fit me in when I need it. What I love about Steve is that unlike other stylists, he does what I ask for and not what he «thinks» I need. With Prom Season coming up, I also highly recommend Katie and Jessica for their updos. My daughter and her friends all received many compliments on the stylish updos they have done for several of their events, and Katie recently did one for me that I loved! The other stylists also have lots of years of experience so really you cannot go wrong with whomever you go to if you choose to try them out.

I’ve been a customer of Salon Matisse for about four years. Stephanie does an excellent job with my cut, color and blow out. I’ve also had Jessica do my hair when Stephanie was unavailable. Jessica is also excellent. But what I really love about this salon is how friendly all the stylists are with all the customers and how when you are there, everyone just hangs out. I am not a sitter. I am always on the go, so for me sitting for a color, cut and blow dry is torture, but when I’m at Salon Matisse, the time flies by. When I’m done, I look great and since the prices are reasonable, I leave feeling relaxed and happy.

I’m easy business for a hair salon, 15 mins in & out & that includes shampoo time. However this week was a larger task for Salon Matisse, it has been since September that i last had a hair cut, my wife thought i was turning into Willie Nelson & truth be told i did threaten a pony tail, but Katy at Salon Matisse to the rescue & i was still in & out in less than 30 mins. Salon Matisse is situated in the same strip mall as Kitchen Hanzo & Sharuku. Opposite the Meijer Superstore on Haggerty road. They style both Men & women & provide all the needed services like coloring, Manicures & Pedicures, The staff is all Female except for one male stylist. Usually i make appointments every 6 weeks for 3 – 4 months out which is a customer service that i like.
