This place has some great deals at awesome prices. The dealers are updating merchandise at a quick pace and everything is kept quite clean and orderly(for an antique place, of course). That being said, the debit/credit card policies are a bit strange. On any given day the minimum purchase can vary from $ 12-$ 20+. It’s as if they set arbitrary amounts per customer. I do want to stress I always find great stuff there! The dealers actively update, and the furniture floor can be amazing.

I love this place. As a prior reviewer mentioned, the«junk»(which I enjoy perusing also) is at a much lower ratio that most places. They have some really magnificent pieces and the prices are great. It doesn’t feel dirty or crowded like a lot of antique places, but it also doesn’t feel stuffy and snobby. It’s worth the trip just to wander around and see what quality used to mean in America.

I happened upon this location after returning from a Fall hike up Mt. Wachusett. It’s on an odd corner and can be easily missed. I was impressed from the moment I entered with an eclectic mix of antiques pressented in a tasteful manner. When you enter you realize this isn’t the standard consignment/antique store and has a diverse offering at really pretty reasonable prices. I made a number of purchases at both my visits and always look forward to wandering the store and finding that special purchase. The folks I’ve encountered who work at the store were both friendly and helpful. It’s nice coming upon a nice store you never knew existed and becoming a fan. It doesn’t happen often and truly there are few stores like this one which offer reasonable prices in a non cluttered diverse way. They have a little of everything. If this store was any further east you’d be sure to find prices 20−25% higher at least and I don’t mind a drive to West Boylston to explore this hidden gem.

As I’ve said in other reviews, I’ve come to devise my own little guide for judging antique stores. There is a very important junk: antiques ratio that differentiates your run-of-the-mill ‘antiques mall’ from a well-kept and thoughtfully curated antiques store. Wayside Antiques is, thankfully, errs on the side of quality merchandise. They’ve got the ‘unique’ factor when it comes to the items for sale, so walking through doesn’t feel like a visit to a consignment shop. The items, for the most part, are actual antiques with some good vintage offerings. The prices are fair, the stalls relatively uncrowded(I mean, we’re talking antiques places, so they’ll always be a little crowded), and the treasures plentiful. I was reluctant to share this review, because finding a good antiques place nowadays is tough. This place is the real deal.
