Chipotle Mexican Grill

Went to this chipotle tonight cause I was in the area. I asked for extra rice and extra chicken. Apparently they’re not a fan of giving extra. Double chicken is usually two full scoops from what I understand. Double chicken for this chipotle is one scoop and about three more pieces. I got weird looks from the staff when I asked for a third scoop. Same situation with the extra rice. It would be worth it to drive the extra time to the East Hanover or Wayne chipotle. Still gave it two stars cause well it is chipotle…

I agree with the previous comment. The food is good but the staff is not. Don’t know why they have to be rude or why they have to put in less than a handful of chicken when they think it might be coming out of their own pocket.

The food is alright but not worth the rude treatment from the staff… it’s worth going out of the way to a different chipotle just so I never have to deal with that rude girl again

Always a solid Chipotle franchise location. Staff is always friendly and upbeat. Usually get a descent portion of meat (90% of the time) and the guac is legit. No complaints here. solid 4.9÷10 but since i can’t give that…5 stars

Witnessed a worker wearing short gloves and a short sleeve shirt arm deep mixing raw meat and seasoning together in a huge bowl and there was seasoning and meat touching her bare skin…
Always had good service here but this was a total turnoff and cannot be sanitary.

I order from Chipotle multiple times a week, in various locations. Time and time again, this Chipotle has been my absolute favorite location. The food is always the freshest at this location. The guac is never browning.
The people are awesome — friendly and helpful. I submit a huge order online about once a week for me and my coworkers, and the order is always exactly right (even with our one million «side of this», «half scoop of that», «extra whatever please» requests. It’s also always ready on time.
It’s easy to see why this location is always crazy busy. It’s the best North Jersey has to offer.
My one less than stellar comment — you guys don’t have to call me after every order. I can assure you, we liked the food.

Chipotle’s catch phrase should be «guac is extra.» I ordered a shredded beef burrito, and like the 3 people before me that wanted guac, was told it was extra. $ 2.11 extra to be exact. It was slopped into the burrito and rolled so that only the last few bites had guac in them. $ 2.11 worth of guac. They also forgot to ask me if I wanted the grilled peppers and onions, and they were missed. The hot sauce was not very spicy. For $ 10.75 you can get a much better burrito up the street at Taqueria Las Mexicanas.

ok first of all i’m a big chipotle fan. i usually have it once a week…
i go out of my way to avoid this one. unfortunately its the closes one to me… they are so cheap with the portions! they put the least chicken out of all the chipotle restaurants!!! to be honest less than half of what other places put!!! i wish the company would do something about it!!! my burrito here is usually a sandwich of beans and rice…

This locations burritos stink. They don’t know how to cook the rice, it shouldn’t be crunchy. They fill the burrito with the undercooked rice & hardly any meat. Not worth it for $ 8.25. We’ve been to another location & the food was better. The only reason we went there was because I got a buy one get one free coupon in the mail. Won’t be going back. Save yourself & go to Moe’s, too bad the closest one is in pompton plains.

What is going on with chipotle??? This review is a gripe more against the company rather than this particular store but since I was there today they are going to bear the brunt of their corporate policy. I admit I love Chipotle and go there far more often than I should. I went in today from my usual burrito barbacoa and immediately had a problem with the server not putting enough meat on the burrito. It was much less than usual and I actually asked him to put more meat on. He asked me if I wanted «extra meat» and I said no I want the «normal amount», he said that was the normal amount and anything else would cost extra so I declined.
To make matters worse when I got to the register the total was $ 8.25. Seriously Chipotle? 8 and a quarter for a burrito these days and smaller portions as well? give me a break. Keep this up and you’re going to lose customers… beginning with me!

I love Chipotle, but this location NEVER has carnitas when I go in for lunch. Its my favorite item on their menu but they haven’t had it the last 4 – 5 times I’ve stopped in. The other stuff is good but this place loses points for not serving the full menu.

You can’t go wrong here. Their burritos are delicious! Plus I love their guacamole! Generous size as well. I usually only eat half and save the rest for the next day.

Great location here — always in and out quickly and quality of the food is always on point. Great service, prompt and done right.

Worth the money great food you will always be full from it haha wish it was 24 hours service could be a little happier but w. e some of them are pretty nice and the food makes up for it

Definitely one of my favorite fast food places! Plenty of parking out front and the line always moves quickly. although if you’re there after school n weekdays be prepared to wait on a bit longer line because all the high school kids will be there. I went there tonight actually around 8 o’clock I was in and out in 5 minutes although they did run out of carnitas which was odd. i went with the barbacoa burrito .mmmm…can’t go wrong for under $ 8. This place is always one of my favorites!

I love Chipotle and this one is my favorite. The food is always fresh and delicious. The lines move fast, and the staff is always great.

Went here last night with a friend. The burrito bowl and burrito are my faves from chipotle! They are always good. I think this location has an entire new staff then the last time I came but everything was still great!

Common. …who hasn’t indulged in Chipotle ’ s mouthwatering burritos? If I’m ever buried alive, I’d like to be buried in one of their warm tortillas so I can eat myself out.
Here’s the scoop: this is a standard location with some (limited) seating. This is one of my favorite locations in the area. I find their staff just a little faster and the meat a little rarer and tenderer. It’s always clean and I can always find a place to park. It’s central to everything (right on Bloomfield and around the corner from Passaic).
Best tip ever: if you’re ordering during a busy time, use the ap or order online. Everything comes labeled by the orderer and it’ll be at the register ready to go when you get there!

The food is good when they get the order right, which unfortunately at this location is rarely. I’ve basically stopped going here because it’s too much of a hassle to get an order correct on the first try.
It’s sloppy order taking and sloppy prep. My wife actually found a shard of plastic in her burrito once.
Chipotle’s corporate office gave me some gift certificates for all of the problems we’ve had, but the Caldwell location just can’t seem to get it together.

Although this Chipotle sits in a rather random shopping center with no business to speak of in between itself and Game Stop, it is nonetheless a very solid Chipotle. The staff here is very friendly and very quick which makes lines that look long evaporate pretty quickly. This is definitely a small Chipotle with around 4 booths, maybe 10 high tops and some other tables in the back area, but sometimes it seems more crowded than it really is because the line kind of weaves right next to the booths.
The food, as expected, is fast and fresh and you always get what you expect here. The place stays clean and both the bathrooms and the drink counter are easily located as you can’t really miss much in this place. When you can get in and out of a place in ten minutes (depending on how fast you eat) with fresh food for less than $ 10, you are definitely in good shape.*

* Well, I don’t actually know if you are in good shape, but if you continue to choose Chipotle over Taco Bell you will be in better shape than you would have been otherwise.
