Jersey Mike’s Subs

This is the première sandwich shop. Always a delicious crowd favorite

I’ve ordered from here twice already, their subs are really good specially the bacon ranch chicken cheese steak, Oh My God, it’s delicious! :)

First time we ordered was great.
Second time they screwed up the order.
Third time we ordered online they didn’t see the ticket so we had to wait.
Ordered today and some twit at the counter that was in weeds said there wasn’t chips on the receipt so we had to pay for them and would have to get in line for that. We paid the chips online and told her that. No apology, just a rude employee not understand that customer service is about 95% of any fast food place especially a sandwich shop in North Jersey.
There are only about 40 sandwich shops with in 20 minute drive.
My wife’s sandwich looked like it was on left over bread from 2 days a go. It was a chicken bacon ranch served extra cold.
I got a ham provolone nothing special.

Love this place! Always a hit. My favorite is the Italian sub. I have tried the cheese steak, and chicken steak, all worth the wait. During lunch hours except a long line. I try coming after hours to skip the wait. They are a little over priced compared to other chains but the quality is superb. Nice staff and they keep the place very clean.

Subs are good, good portions. Tried them 3 times and food wise all fantastic. Co-​worker found a hair in his sub but management was quick to correct this and very apologetic which I thought was great as well. Stuff happens, so I would be returning for more.

Ok so this is now my 4^th time in in the last 6 weeks.
Taste — Subs are good and better than subway.
TOO much O & V and told them to ease up. Be careful. Full pours of each…
Wait time — Needs work. Like the other review way to long of a process.
Takes approx. 15 – 20 min to get in and out with a sub to go.
Service — Courteous but the last 2 visits same thing happened.
When making the order, IE ordered a number#2 sub regular size =$ 5.95 plus tax.
The guy that wraps the sub watches the guy that dresses the sub and knows the sub#.
So when paying that guy tells the cashier #5 which is $ 6.95. Happens every time.
Only a buck more but think this is something they try to see if you catch or challenge.
Perhaps they are still trying to tweek the process but for JM, this should have been done by now.
NOT impressed

First visit to a Jersey Mike’s Subs (I know, I’m late to the party). I’m ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ with this one. The sub itself was good (the Jersey Shore special). I walked in about 11:45am on my lunch break, I didn’t walk out until 12:06 (take out, didn’t eat there) — so there went 21 mins of my 30 min lunch break & I work literally 3 minutes away. There were about 9 people ahead of me, but I saw they had about 6 people behind the counter so I thought «well this should go fast.» Then 3 separate parties ordered about 12 subs each and everyone was getting aggravated. They were trying to move fast, but the meat slicer guy was moving faster than the wrap-​the-​sub guy & the cashier guy. One think that extremely skeeved me out was the fact that they didn’t put paper down for the subs until after it was dressed & ready to be paid for. So all of the subs just sat on the counter top getting pushed around (and they never changed gloves in between — so what happens with the guy behind me who ordered tuna and the guy behind him is highly allergic to fish?). I also didn’t realize until after I left that they have a sub puncher card thing (shouldn’t they ask everyone at the register who’s paying if they have one?). The price for a regular size is generally $ 6 – 7 depending on what you get– but if you want the bigger one, it’s double the price — which I thought over $ 12 for a bigger sub is steep. As I was waiting in line, a girl came out & asked the line if anyone had any hot subs to order. Guy at the back did so he ordered, and by the time I got to the register to pay, his was done & they took him first — not sure the logic as I was there first (both before he even entered the place, and I got to the register before his was even called). I will probably try it again just not on lunch break.

Just ate there. Great sub, friendly staff. Definietly a cut above Subway. Not super cheap, but easily made up for it in quality.

I’m in. Fresh great sandwiches. Great value for the dollar. I don’t think I’ll ever go to Subway again.
My kids loved it. They Gatorade.
Very good staff. Happy about what they were doing. I like that. Don’t you.
