I just left the scrap yard and had a chance to meet the owner and his wonderful cashier. The staff is very polite and helpful. This scrap yard was one of the cleanest I’ve been to. They have made changes recently and it shows. I would highly recommend this scrap yard. Thanks again for the friendly staff!

I disassembled my swimming pool — there was a lot of steel and a lot of aluminum. When I brought the material there — a worker glanced at the stuff and said flatly «2 cents a pound — that’s all steel.» I explained there was quite a bit of aluminum — but he said he wasn’t going to separate the two — essentially putting me in a ‘like it or leave it’ situation. But I wasn’t prepared to go anywhere else. I got $ 4.48 for 224 lbs of material (at least ½ was the pricier aluminum) — that’s how they do business! I should have left it for junk collectors — they would have gotten what it was worth and put food on their table. Never again!
