Denny’s

Walked in at 9:44 for breakfast, no one in front to seat me. Someone came, no greeting, just asked how many in my party… seated at 9:50.
Waitress comes at 9:58 takes my order and promptly brings drink (water). I notice the waitress servicing the table in front of me has come to the table 5 times before mine has come back once. Maybe it’s because the patrons are elderly, or maybe they’re known here.
My waitress is nowhere to be found. At 10:20 she magically appears with my order, which looks a bit scary. The hash browns are most definitely not like Waffle House makes. I ordered cheese and onions on them and I get something that doesn’t look familiar. The onion looks like some grey matter was sautéed in ‘em or maybe they were dropped on the floor, stepped on and refried before loading them onto my hash browns.
10:21 my waitress brings the check and as an afterthought asks if everything’s okay. 10:46 (just now) she comes over and asks if everything’s okay again. Probably cause I’m typing and sitting here too long and she wants to get her tip. **shrugs** Maybe TJM… LOLBVS.
OH, The food is MEH… could be less salty and more visibly appetizing, and appealing.
Will try Waffle House tomorrow.

When we arrived there were a couple in front of us waiting to pay. However there was no one in the front area. The couple ringed a bell they have on the counter twice and then one employee showed up. She asked if we were waiting to be seated. The couple mentioned that we were but they were just waiting to pay. The employee got 4 menus and asked us to follow her. I Think she did not heard the couple in front of us. Anyway our food was quick, good and had no problems when paying. Coffee cup was half empty.

We love this place the staff are very friendly. The food is great I love their philly chicken sandwich. The manager is very nice. The restaurant is clean even the restrooms

New opened up a couple months ago. The guy who was serving was very respectful and everything was great! Best nachos of all the Denny’s I’ve been to!

I’m sure Denny’s is Denny’s wherever you go. I didn’t realize that this location existed (as I don’t got to the part of town as much as I used to. This is where Burger King used to be, on the other side of I-​26 from Lexington Medical Center. Me and my parents just had dinner here tonight. Got waited on fairly quickly (but it was 5:30-ish to 5:45-ish on a Sunday evening and we had the restaurant pretty much to ourselves — even though business was picking up as we were about ready to leave). My mom had pointed out Denny’s might be busier for the breakfast hours (even though you can get breakfast all day) and I was also thinking this could be a place to hangout after high school football games,
Anyways, I was thinking I would get a grilled chicken entrée for dinner before we arrived (it’s been a long while since I’ve eaten at Denny’s). Looking at the menu, the only grilled chicken option is on the 55+ menu, and I’m ways off for being in the 55+ menu. The only grilled chicken option for the under 55 crowd is a grilled chicken sandwich (which I wouldn’t mind, but didn’t want all the bread on the sandwich and potiential French Fries as a side option). Sure it’s not the location fault, it’s probably something that comes down for corporate. Anyways, when our waitress came out to take our order, I had asked if there was a non-​senior grilled chicken option, and there was not. She was able to work with the manager and was able to do the the grilled chicken dinner (otherwise we would have to do the dinner a la carte).
Also. If you’re driving from Lexington /​Lexington Medical Center, you would have to drive past Denny’s, past Waffle House, and make a make a left at the light past Waffle House and enter from behind (as there is a median in the middle of Sunset Blvd.

Yes it’s a Denny’s but this place gets a 5 star from me. Came after surgery and my food was wonderful as well as the service. The manager was super nice and even one of the cooks came out making sure the food was good! Very pleased! Will recommend for a quick bite.

Really like this new Denny’s. The food is plentiful as I am very full and still have some to take home
I got the red, white & blue meal which is blueberry pancakes eggs has Browns and bacon

The waitstaff is amazing, but the kitchen is so slow! Had a to-​go order and waited 45 minutes for an omelette… the food was delicious but it wasn’t worth the wait at all

Our waitress was Stacey G. She was very sweet and accommodating. Got me the exact order I wanted even though menu did not offer. Coffee was GOOD. Service and time out of kitchen was quick. This place opened only a few weeks ago and they have their ducks in a row.
