Vivint Solar

Biggest regret I have ever made with regards to my home. Please do not sign up with these people. They make you sign a 20 year contract. I had them for literally 6 months. When I compared my electric bill to the new Electric plus Vivint I found that I was paying more. You do not benefit from solar electricity. They do. Plus, who on Earth do you think you are selling your home to that is going to take on a 20 year contract with some solar company that has the worst reviews. Exactly nobody. You will not be able to sell your home. It does not add value to your home as you do not own the panels. Plus the solar panel industry is coming out with new panels every month. By the time the first year rolls around your panels will be out dated. I couldn’t sell my home because my buyer was not an idiot and would not assume my contract. I was forced to pay almost $ 20,000 to remove the panels from my roof. Pretty much all the equity I had in the home. then I had to pay a roofer to repair the ridiculous damage to the roof. Vivint customer service is not customer service. They never call you back. They all give different information. One day the sky is blue the other day it’s red. I had 24 huge holes in my roof and had a huge hole in my beige siding that they filled with black gunk. Worst decision ever for my home. STAY AWAY PEOPLE. DO YOUR RESEARCH. READ THEIR REVIEWS AND READ EVWRY LINE OF THE CONTRACT… YOU WILL BE THANKFUL TOU STAYED AWAY… Just heard they’re in South Carolina now… Hopefully this saves you people down there… They are probably going to try and take advantage of people’s kindness down here…
