This is the only Chinese restaurant in town. It’s decent after a long day of skiing when you don’t feel like cooking. Always crowded during the winter with groups and families after hitting the slopes. They have a robust take out business. The vegetables could be fresher, the noodles more firm, and the dishes less salty but hey we are talking about Chinese food in Vermont so the pickings are slim.

This is a review for their takeout service Pros– fast service, free oolong teas and fried wontons Cons– very greasy lo mein, burned rice with no other flavor, and some of the chicken wings that we got for the app were still pink near the bone. One star for fast service, the other for convenience and being the only Chinese food in the area.

Food was great ! It was not heavy, feels like no MSG. This was our first time having this, although we came mount snow all the time in winter. Was gonna come back here in the future. Unfortunately the waitress had a bad attitude. We didn’t feel welcome. Won’t come back for sure, dont want to have a bad waitress serving us.

I’ve had quick meals. I’ve had really good meals. This was both. Quick. Delicious. Nice servers. Great service. Food is out in 5 minutes. This food is the best Chinese food I’ve had.

Just an average Chinese restaurant. The people who work there are super nice, the service was quick, and the food came out quickly. It was a bit expensive I think for what it was but it’s also right at Mount Snow, so they can do that. We had beef tips, chicken wings, pork fried rice, and general gao chicken(spelling?). Chicken wings were yummy and crunchy, pork fried rice was good too, but wasn’t a huge fan of the general gao nor the beef tips. They also had spring rolls and no egg rolls. Their spring rolls are good but I always find it surprising that people serve spring rolls but not egg rolls. :-)

For Dover, Vermont chinese food this is about as good as it gets. I’ve been here more than a few times, and the food is always solid. We tend to get the sesame beef, tofu with veggies, chicken with broccoli and scallion pancakes. The service is quick and everyone is very nice. It’s also an especially fun atmosphere in the winter, as everyone has just come in from a day of skiing and are ready to take on a scorpion bowl(for 2 or for 4…)

good food, fast service especially on a Saturday night although this was before peak season. General Tso’s chicken, sauteed string beans, and beef and broccoli were all good dishes and tasty. we will be back!

We stopped in after a movie(8:45pm) and their sign says they are open until 10:00pm. The drinks were dull and the food is over priced for what you get. It seemed like they wanted us out of there at 9:15 because they never asked if we wanted anything else, the check came with a look of get out. We will never go back again for such an underwhelming food establishment

Some of the best Chinese food you will find in a place you would least expect it. Great service, always consistent, very reasonably priced.

The food here was delicious. We had moo shu chicken here two nights in a row. The owners of the place were very nice and friendly and are from Taiwan. I would highly recommend this place.

Absolutely delicious Chinese food. I’m a native New Yorker, which means I’ve had my fair share of Chinese food. That said, this is one of the best Chinese food I’ve had in a very long time and easily compares to the Chinese food in New York(better than most honestly). The general tsao chicken was delicious along with the chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce. Also, the fried pork dumplings were so tasty and had great texture. The staff was very kind and efficient as well. Oh yea, def get the hot and sour soup(it has a nice kick). I stayed in the Mount Snow area for only three nights and ate this food twice. Enjoy.

For one of the only Chinese places around, First Wok wasn’t too crowded on Christmas Eve. They were able to accommodate many large parties and bring the food out quickly. The steamed vegetable dumplings were nice and fresh and I was pleasantly happy with my Mu Shu Beef. Chinese is always a novelty for me, and I was glad I was able to appreciate First Wok while in Vermont. It’s your typical Chinese food place, and you get exactly what you expect.

Best place to go when at Mount Snow, the tangerine beef is amazing! Stayed for five days a with group of 6 people, we ate there 3 times. HIGHLYRECOMMEND. I’ve been going to mount snow for the last 10 years every winter ever since I found this place we always go there usually at twice per trip. I live in Philly where’s there’s awesome Chinese food and this is some of the best I’ve ever had.

First Wok has been a part of the valley for many many years. Their food is always solid and the service is always great. It is owned by a family and it shows. I would recommend the steamed vegetable dumplings, crispy sesame beef and boneless spare ribs. The only reason I took off 1 star is because the décor could use some updating.

Solid Chinese food — probably the best take out option at Mt. Snow. I recommend ordering Mala chicken.

The taste of the food is way too americanized. No «authentic» chinese dishes to be had. If you have ever been to a «real» chinese restaurant — where your friends who speak chinese and orders dishes not from the menu — then you can appreciate the different style of cooking that is involved. I wonder if the cooks are asian in this place.

First Wok has got to be owned by the same people that own Panda North in Brattleboro because their menus are identical. First Wok has good Chinese food at a decent price. The service and quick and friendly. It’s nice to pair a trip to First Wok with a movie at the theater in the same plaza. I recommend their egg drop soup and the Happy Family entrée
