Really enjoyed my meal here. Lots of cheese on the pizza which I really enjoy. The food has a lot of flavor and the location and atmosphere are really nice. The portions are huge though. Definitely food to share with multiple people. Of the food my group ordered the only thing I didn’t like was the broccoli rabe which was very bland and lacked enough garlic. But it’s also a pizza place so probably doesn’t specially in weird leaf green crap that only the person I was eating with would ever order with their pizza.

Like an alternative in WH to the Harry’s and Harrysesque pizza options. Don’t like the river of grease they let flow into storm drains from the back of the kitchen. This makes our local streams and rivers(and their parking lot) disgustingly foul. Joey’s management, please get a service to clean the mats, already.

I have only ever had takeout here but it is always delicious. The fried mozzarella is amazing as is the fresh mozzarella pie. We have tried a bunch of things from the menu and have yet to be disappointed. We have also gotten food from Joey Garlics, which was also great. I would say if you are getting pasta, probably eat it in the restaurant, it is not as amazing as everything else take out wise.

Always a great choice to get a lot of good food for a reasonable price! There pizza is delicious if you like thin crust. The meatball salad is my favorite! Just a tip if you do takeout try and order before the dinner rush as it gets pretty busy and could take a a while to pick up.

As an update: Food is great but select servers leave something to be desired. I usually get the cheese burgers, which are the best I have ever had in CT. Try it with a side of gorgonzola and ranch dressing for dipping. The dressings are scratch made and are to die for. The other critique is that the burger isn’t always cooked to specification, with one more done than the other when the same was medium temp was requested. These are easy fixes though. Please leave feedback if you found this useful. Happy Unilocaling.

Excellent food and decent service. We had the mozzarella app which was definitely made with fresh mozz– delicious! I got the Penne alla Vodka with sausage– portion was HUGE and delicious– the tomato flavor was nice and fresh and the sauce creamy and rich. Will definitely be going back!

My husband LOVED this place… I thought it was good just not as amazing as he did I guess. I got a really tasty Caesar salad with chicken and it was very yummy… but I was just not that into their pizza. Don’t get me wrong, it was good… but I didn’t think the sauce was the best. But if you like REALLYREALLY thin crust pizza you will love this place. I still need to try some of the other dinner options and possibly up the stars.

Just moved to the area and wanted to try a pizza I had heard so much about… quite frankly I was disappointed… I had to order a large because I didn’t think a small was enough for three pople and no medium size is offered… I ordered a fresh mozzarella pie with sausage(bland), pepperoni and mushroom for $ 23.00+…by the time I got it home, less than 10 minutes, the pie was soggy in the middle… while the pizza was huge it still managed to disappoint… sorry joey… I won’t be back but I will be picking up pizza from your competition across the street. .Park Lane pizza, while different, was awesome!!!

I’ve only had the eggplant parm grinder(twice) but it was great both times. Nice toasty bread and delicious marinara. Hubby loved his Philly cheesesteak. Will be back to try their pizza.

Don’t get the chicken parm. While it didn’t lack on flavor they serve you enough pasta to feed a small Third World Nation, I kid you not – about a pound and a half of pasta(not an exaggeration) was served in a serving bowl under a relatively small piece of chicken for the price that they have the audacity of charging you. Best bet is sticking to the pizza which is really good and crispy and the eggplant fries– ask for them well done! Bangin.

I mostly order take out here and the pizza is good. Had one bad experience with a bad cheese pizza and don’t order the wings they aren’t very good. Other than that they are fast and very solid pizza. Fried mozzarella is good. Penne Alla Vodka above average and huge portion, will feed 2. This place is worth a try.

Joey’s has a pretty good reputation in the area. However, I was somewhat disappointed with my take out pizza. Was hungry and tired last Friday and decided to grab a pie for din din. Based on the reviews here, I decided to give Joey’s a go. Ordered a large hamburger pizza for pick up via phone and was pleased with the speed the transaction was handled. But upon arrival to pick up said pizza, the two behind the counter were slower than molasses in January. It was strange to watch the two counter workers move slowly, processing phone orders and handing off food as fellow diners looked at watched and seemingly wondered how long they’d wait. Once my turn occurred, the same thing happened. Slow moving workers made me wonder if I were to be held captive at that counter for the rest of the evening. But after what seemed like an inordinate wait, my payment was processed and my pizza was found. My pizza wasn’t all that flavorful. I thought the sauce was bland and the hamburger was cheap. While the pie was a good size pie for the $ 20 I spent on it, my taste buds didn’t tell me I have to return to Joey’s for another pizza. I’ll give another joint in the area a try before I return to Joey’s. It was okay… but that’s about it.

My best friend and I decided to order pizza for supper one night and we were not disappointed at all. Pizza was delicious, the sauce really makes it. We also ordered garlic bread which was good, but nothing too special. However due to some difficulties with waiting, the staff gave us free eggplant fries! That is what makes a good place, great! Knowing when there are issues and correcting them. It wasn’t a big deal with the wait but knowing they cared enough about is to offer free fries sealed the deal of us being loyal Joey fans! And of course who doesn’t like the eggplant fries! Can’t wait to go back!

Joey’s Pizza has a LOT right. The pizzas are cooked well, with just the right amount of crunchiness in the base. The menu is impressive and you will never be left hungry with their generous sizes. If you’re looking to take-out, call, and in just 15 or so minutes you’re pie will be ready to pick up. The staff are friendly too. The only slight weakness is that sometimes, their pizzas can be a little greasy, so those who don’t like that might need a paper towel ready, but that’s a small con in this great pizza joint.

Part of the Joey Garlic family, Joeys Pizza doesn’t disappoint. Large portions and great pizza can be found here. Parking can be tight at times. The staff is friendly. I love their thin crust pizza. Their meatball salad is both filling and delicious. Take out orders are filled quickly and correctly for those on a limited lunch break.

Came here to just check it out, didn’t realize it was associated with Joey Garlics. Tight seating, dim light, overall okay atmosphere. Wait staff is nice enough. We ordered their dinner special, two topping pizza and an app for $ 20. Got the meatball sliders and pepperoni + hamburg pizza. Sliders were good and the pizza was too. Pizza was heavy on the cheese and lacked sauce, but the overall quality was good, the crust was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I’d come back again to try their burgers, saw another patron eating one, and it looked delicious.

Only been here once — Wish I ate inside but the takeout was great. I ordered 2 full chicken parm grinders to-go(about $ 20+) which I thought was a little pricey until I saw that they were pretty big! Unlike some other places, the chicken is thick and not dry! You can tell that they bread their own cutlets instead of the cheap alternative. Not too saucy, and clean. Hopefully they’re consistent with all take-out orders. I’ll be back.

Love the pizza here! I’ve come a handful of times and had different pies, such as the BBQ chicken, the kitchen sink one and a white pie. Legit a tasty pizza and oh, their salads are tasty too! You have to try the Sicilian one or the one with goat cheese — can’t remember the name but yum! I wished this place delivered!!! A few people did mention that service is slow, I agree. It takes a while to close the tab and get out of the place but maybe that’s their strategy. Regardless, I’ll be back or I’ll call for pick up.

Joey’s has its own lot and is conveniently placed off Park and S Quaker– a short way’s down the road is the 84. H and I come every now and then… The pizzas and grinders are generally good. Sometimes the food is hit or miss(depending on the cook who’s in, maybe?). That’s the reason for my star rating. BUT it’s definitely better than the take out variant from Pizza Hut. Most importantly, the eggplant fries are AMAZING. I aaaaaalways order a serving when eating in or getting food to-go.
