I have never used a storage unit before so I don’t have much to compare Metro to. However, the grounds are super clean, the staff is friendly and everything is laid out on the table when you go over the lease agreement. My unit is super clean and the ability to drive into the facility is really great. You get out of the elements, there is plenty of light down each hallway and you feel like your stuff is even more secure. Would recommend!

You can’t beat the prices here and the ability to drive your vehicle inside is great for when the weather isn’t. When there are problems with the elevator (which is rare) they bring someone in that day to fix it. I have noticed mouse droppings lately though. Make sure you have absolutely nothing edible in your unit and you should be fine.

Metro Self is by far the best storage in the area. It is well organized, modern, clean, convenient, and at the excellent value available.
My deep gratitude to Ginny and Nick for the superior service. They are exceptional people: highly professional, thorough and efficient. Their enthusiasm and caring disposition above all contributed greatly to providing me with much needed smooth transition. Highly recommended facility.

Read your contract closely. The late fees are excessive — up to 35% of your base rent for a mid-​size unit but an even greater percent if you have a small unit. Local staff can’t fix anything on your account or give you a break for being a long term client. When you go to pay online, all you see is a bulk number — no detail accounting.
