Smores is yummy, depending on who makes it. Super fast, typically great service, a little small — limited seating but great place. Chipotle opening next door.

Probably the worst starbucks ive been to. The layout is horrible and the line is always to the door because they only have one or two employees working at the register. Dont go to this starbucks unless you hve 30 minutes to get a coffee

I’ve been a loyal Starbucks customer for years but just recently coming to this location every morning. Overall nice staff, but unfortunately the wait on average is 15 minutes.

Great as usual and with New Haven Green nearby makes for an easy early morning restful coffee before the world wakes up! What a view to boot! Historical New Haven has a ton of gorgeous architecture. Enjoy and absorb.

I have spent quite a few long days studying at the Starbucks on Saw Mill Rd. While the food and beverages are typical of any starbucks, I have to stay that the staff are wonderful! Jess(CJ), Mariah, Jeff, and Ed have all been so lovely! They truly provide excellent customer service!

A nice and cozy location with lots of seating and ample parking. Otherwise it’s your typical generic Starbucks inside.

I’m being generous by giving this Starbucks three stars. They have a prime location right off 95, which is ideal for customers who are looking for a quick cup of coffee before hitting the road again. The problem, however, is that the staff here is anything but quick. They move at a snail’s pace, and it can be incredibly frustrating because their lack of urgency doesn’t reflect the customers’ necessity of needing to get back to their journeys. Aside from the speed of a glacier, the store is clean and organized, and the coffee you eventually get will be made perfectly. That’s what really matters, right? #reallybutnotreally

The baristas with a few exceptions are really personable and knowledgeable about the drinks and shop. The biggest down side to this particular Starbucks is very, very slow and always seems badly understaffed. During rush hours in the morning, it seems like sometimes there is no one working. The wait can be very long.

Great location right off the highway, lots of space to sit without feeling claustrophobic, lots of light through the windows. Staff is super friendly and the girl we encountered last time rang up each drink separate so we could get the stars. For being an off the highway location, I’d expect them to be a bit less friendly, but not at all the case. I’d highly recommend here since they’re super clean as well and then you can jump right on the Post Road without having to actually stop at a Bucks on it.

Morning fix. Easy on/off 95. They’re open early as well. Only knock is the entrance to parking lot is poorly marked. When you combine that with a normally dim lit Starbucks building it’s easy to miss the entrance.

So it’s Starbucks, you know what to expect right? It’s also the ONLY full service one in West Haven so my commute to work only passes this one. Expect to wait at minimum 10 to 12 minutes for non-pour coffee. Line, no line, doesn’t matter you are waiting. And the staff are surly, cheer up guys!

Right of 95, perfect to stop at on the way to the shiny new train station. Clean and quick. Typical Starbucks I think. I’ll be back.

3 people working @ rush hour. Loooong line. Good iced Americano. My order was wrong but they graciously only charged me for a sm when I had asked for a tall. That was cool. Lots of loung space, bar & tables to hangout & do whatev it is we do @ bucks beside drink coffee. Fairly clean restroom. Not the nicest area.

One of the best locations I’ve been to. The manager is on top of inventory and they are never out of anything. With a black card your name is on it — this is the first location who has looked at my card and called me by name!!! What service!!! They also keep pumpkin spice longer for their customers! Awesome!

I hadn’t been here in about 6 months. On a recent visit, the loud and irritating supervisor thankfully wasn’t there, although no idea if that’s a permanent change or that I just happened to be in when he wasn’t around. Unfortunately, one big change from the past — the place was filthy. The milk and sugar station, the tables, and especially the carpeted seating area(now highly stained) — all just a mess. Meanwhile, the 3 women«working» here were just goofing around behind the counter, with me as the only customer. Just six months ago the prime selling point about this store was its cleanliness and newness. What the hell happened?

This Starbucks is conveniently located roughly halfway between Boston and NYC. I usually stop here to get a coffee and use the facilities(which thankfully are usually pretty clean). Plentiful parking, friendly staff, no complaints whatsoever.

I can’t believe there aren’t more reviews for this starbucks — this is the one by that american steakhouse, right? For the longest time I drove by here and couldn’t see where they built a starbucks here –was it inside the steak house??? Nope. its on the side of the building. I was here about 2 weeks ago. It was late, i needed to stay awake and it made sense. This location made a pretty good soy mocha for me, but as Erika said it is definitely a bit«off brand» here and I don’t know if that’s good or bad. Its good to see them trying to deviate from the hohum starbucksness, but sometimes thats what you are looking for and its a bummer when you don’t get it.

Last time I checked, it’s not that hard to brew 6 shots of espresso, mix that with 6 pumps of vanilla, shake and serve. So I guess my confusion is where the barista with the«holier than thou» attitude has the nerve to get all pissy as if I’m bothering her to make the drinks in the first place. I know that the doubleshots are a little on the cumbersome side as far as drinks go but umm, it’s your job. Also, while I’m on a rant, could you please not just get one but both of them right when I order two of these, that’d be extra helpful. Oh and just a little tip for the barista who thinks she works in *the* best Starbucks in New Haven county, I’m sure corporate would frown on your exposed tattoos, bad attitude, and the fact that you were blaring Ice Cube since the Starbucks station was down. I’m pretty sure they don’t get down like that in Woodbridge.
