The new owner Jay is awesome! He’s incredibly friendly. He gave our pre-kinder class a tour of the facility which the kids thought was cool and then they had ice-cream. The kids loved the entire experience. They have wide range of cakes and mini cones for parties too. I highly recommend this location!

We have been going to Baskin robbins since 1967(the one on Topanga and then the Platt Ave one) Went to the Platt Ave one the other night and got our usual triple treat. To our surprise the cup was smaller and tiny scoops. No nuts or whip on top. Today we thought we would go to the Topanga one and got the same thing but they served the usual serving we were used to all these years. Friendly staff and fast. Will never go to the Platt ave one again.

Came here Sunday night for their special! Who doesn’t love sweets and a good deal? The girl working there that night was very sweet. She offered a sample and didn’t give me a dirty look when I asked for another one! Sorry! 31 flavors and I have to choose one??! This is a big decision for me so I appreciate having another chance at a sample. :) Good location with plenty of parking and good seating. See you guys soon!

This is my go to place for ice cream ever since I were a child. Tonight I went in and I wasn’t sure if there happened to be a new owner for this location but I’ve never seen him before. He was a Very nice, older gentleman but when we served our ice cream he didn’t even give us the right amount. I feel bad for even mentioning about the amount of ice cream in my cup since there are other things to worry about but I felt like I was ripped off. He put the smallest amounts of whatever we asked in our cup. Hopefully the older gentleman(if he’s a new owner or employee) understands what I’m trying to say.

I have been to this location numerous times, and was never a huge fan. The employees always seemed like I was bothering them, and would rather continue their personal conversations than assist us. Well, this past Sunday I was begged by my children to get ice cream. I was very reluctant, but decided to take them. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by not 1, not 2, but 3 employees!!! There were other customer there, and they still acknowledged us immediately! They were very helpful and suggested samples that we may like. Usually, we would take our ice cream to go, but the employees made us feel so welcomed, I called my husband to meet us there. It was nice to sit and enjoy ice cream as a family. While talking with the staff it turns out that there is a new owner, and he came out to introduce himself. I told him I noticed right away that the customer service had improved. Thank you Jay for making at feel at home! We will definitely be back!

Strange reviews for this Baskin Robbins. It seems most people have an issue with the staff, which is often made up of high school kids. I’ve never had a problem, but I also strive to be polite and engage them when I go in. In return, they seem heavy-handed with their scoops, which is a nice change from other local 31 Flavors. The selection is much smaller than other stores in the chain nearby, however; this particular location only seems to have about 24 flavors at any given time, which is nothing to sneeze at, but may cause some folks distress if you’re going in looking for that extra special flavor you’ve been craving. They tend to have the old stand-bys always available; stuff like Cookies ‘n Cream, Mint Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Jamoca, and more.

FREE birthday ice-cream ~ Sign up on their email list! The Service: Very friendly, when I showed him my free birthday ice-cream coupon, he even wished me happy birthday! The service is very efficient and professional! The Ice-cream: So creamy!!! I chose«Very Berry Strawberry» ice-cream. BIG piece of strawberry almost every single bite. Super refreshing! The Parking: Private parking lot in the plaza(FREE)

I was somehow duped into promising banana splits for the 12 girls on my AYSO team if they won. Trying to purchase gift cards but they are limiting me to two. WTH! Went back and brought my wife and daughter back and got 6. Next day I went to the store at Topanga and 101. Server was happy to sell me as many as I wanted! Also, their banana splits are 50 cent cheaper AND they put the napkins out for you to take; you don’t have to beg! My permanent boycott of this 31 Flavors begins Saturday. The owner is a cheapie. Boo

Don’t go to this location(on Platt in West Hills) on a Saturday night. If you walk in 30 minutes before closing, the employees look at you like, «How dare you come in here and bother me. I want to clean up and get home.» And tonight, they were out of The Flavor of the Month(three days into the month). So, not only are the employees unprofessional, but the manager doesn’t do a good job ordering inventory. They are always out of something at this location and, what’s worse, they don’t care. There’s no, «Welcome to Baskin Robbins» and no «I’m sorry» when they don’t have what you want. Instead — go to the Baskin Robbins on Mulholland Drive(where Valley Circle turns into Mulholland; where CVS and Islands are located) in Woodland Hills. At this location, they are professional, friendly, and never out of supplies. And it’s only a five minute drive from the bad Platt location. 31 Flavors is great, but at the Platt location, they should call it 10 Flavors and their slogan should be: «Don’t bother me.»

I go here because of four words: peanut butter n’ chocolate. The wife loves it and I do too but make sure to eat much less. It’s the perfect blend of sweet chocolate and salty peanut butter joy. They have pre-packaged containers from corporate and those work just fine for about $ 6. It’s pricey but it’s the only ice cream around and everyone knows Baskin Robbins. This location is just mediocre. It’s a relatively small, narrow store with seating outside only. Saw a sign at the register saying they have to give you a receipt or else. Staff is high school kids that can sport an attitude. They’re serving up ice cream for minimum wage and don’t seem to have been trained in customer service. Whatever. Just give me my ice cream and I’ll be on my way. (For desserts, I’d prefer Yozen Frogurt or Nothing Bundt Cake in this center but ice cream is good too.)

The staff here is constantly turning over here and consequently the service suffers. I came here one night and the two employees were just chilling in the back. It took them about 10 minutes to realize that they had customers. The Baskin and Robbins on Saticoy and Topanga is much better.
