The employee helping me out here was pretty rude. I had a return of an unworn item. It was linen and i didn’t realize how tight the dress was on my chest when I tried it on at home and it threw off the entire form of the dress. I was within the 30 days return policy, which is clearly stated in long paragraphs under their receipt and she kept arguing with me that the return policy is 14 days. LOL. Then she continued to say that she can’t return soiled clothing, meanwhile she had not even looked at the dress inspected it for any issues or imperfections. I think she was delusional. Then another employee got involved and argued with her that it is 30 days and 14 days is for the home store. I mean, it clearly states that in ENGLISH. So incompetent and RUDE RUDE RUDE! This review is just a short version. She then unwillingly apologized after extending the process and making me feel annoyed.

Then Calypso is your place!
There were times when I had to break up with Calypso … they strayed, they slept in a bed with another lady and had ugly children soap opera style. I took a long break reevaluated all my clothing choices and found other places where I can look like a hobo.
I have slowly been coming back to Calypso as my go to shop … first with their signature oversized cardigans and recently I just dove back in like we never ever were apart.
You absolutely have to go here for California chic … which is to say effortless amazing crazy cool clothes.

do yourself a favor and purchase their silk signature wrap dress in your favorite desired color.
This thing can be tied 10 ways, stored in a knot, and looks great on everyone.
this has been a STAPLE in my closet, a lifesaver for many events, and a hit every time I wear it.

Newport Beach, CA
This is one of my top five favorite stores for clothing. Kind of St. Tropez, easy breezy and feminine. Up until now my O.C. friends had no idea what Calypso was. But, unfortunately, they are opening one up in South Coast Plaza. Bummer! Now everyone will have the same pretty, washed — out taffeta skirts and dresses in all of the dreamy colors of the ocean!

Rows and rows of clothes sorted by color! Between this and Ghost, this slightly O.C. tendencied girl is very happy. Lots of shifty, gauzy South-​of-​France type wear. I will mention that if you’re looking for tunic-​y Tory Burchy things, you should also check out Govinda’s, which is better in selection and price.
