Love Chop Stop. This location has nicer employees then Studio City so I prefer coming here. I also get a discount with my WeHo community card. What I love about this place is that for the price, I’m getting quite a large salad the exact way I want it. I usually go for there BBQ chopped and because I don’t like tomatoes I sub it for onions(basically you can change any of their menu options as long as it only has 6 items inside – or else you have to pay for any extra item). I highly recommended this place since it’s a way better meal option then most quick spots. They also have free parking in the lot next to them

When I first heard about this salad place, I pictured rows of AYCE lettuce and salad toppings, covered by a sneeze guard. Chop Stop is the opposite of that — you won’t see your salad(or any salad for that matter) until yours has been chopped, topped and sealed in a to-go bowl. It’s like a salad bar in outer space. There are a zillion possible combos, so I always go with a chop on the menu — the Sante Fe Chop(zesty), the Viva Mexico Chop(spicy) or the Caesar Chop(great Caesar dressing). The salads are huge, and they really are chopped, which I love, so you’ll never have a Jurassic Park-sized piece of lettuce in your bowl. All this luxury is not cheap — salads are $ 10. Want to turn a cheat meal into a worse cheat meal? Get a warmed pretzel roll — they are awesome.

Would leave zero if it was an option — I ordered online & my order was due to be ready at 1:33. I arrived & was told my order wasn’t ready yet, it would be another 5 minutes. 30 minutes later I received my order!!! Come on guys it’s not rocket science & your employees work at a snails pace. The smirk on your employee Christopher’s face wasn’t appreciated, the only thing he excels at is nothing. Never again & I’ll be sure to tell all of my co-workers to avoid this location …

Walked in at 9:55 and Kevin and his crew were super helpful. Changed our orders mid-make and they didn’t bat an eye. Pros.

Terrible management by Lizbeth, unable to provide good customer service after not getting the order correct and missing a vital part of the order! She should not be managing. Typically most restaurants will try to make a correction, not this one. Terrible f*** up see all the other reviews if you want to confirm the awful service. Someone in corporate needs a new batch of staff! Not sure why they have not hired someone to make sure orders Aren’t missing.

I just ordered a Greek salad from this place using postmates. I specifically asked for Extra dressing so when the salad arrives after and hour and a half it not only came without the extra dressing but came with no dressing. The Manager LIZBETH offered to comp me on the next salad??? Hello I need to eat now. Never ordering from this place again. BIGFAIL.

Love the salads at Chop Stop. They have a huge selection of ingredients, you really can’t go wrong, the toughest thing is deciding which 5 to get when creating your own salad. Plenty of proteins as well, I always go with the tuna and love it, no mayo if you request it which is great, most places only have premixed. Always fresh, huge portion for the price and very filling. Great dressings and love how you get a bite of everything on each forkful since its chopped. Perfect light but filling lunch that won’t leave you sluggish the rest of the day. Service here is great, salads are made quickly. Pass on the wrapped ones, not as good in taste or value.

Chopstop is the go to place for a cheap, easy, and quick lunch. I go here probably once or twice a week and it’s easily one of my favorite salad spots in the area. The staff is always very nice and accommodating. I always call in my order first and it takes around 15 mins to make. They also always double check to make sure it’s correct as they’re ringing me up. The BBQ salad is my favorite and I’ll grab a side of BBQ sauce too to add. Sometimes I’ll order the Asian salad which is also very good. Parking is easy, go to the driveway next to it and there are two reserved spots for Chopstop pickup. All I request is for them to open one closer to me! Say near Pasadena please!

This is such a great option for affordable, satisfying, healthy weekday lunches. I love the Viva La Mexico salad. I recommend getting the dressing on the side so you can control how much you want(they use a lot if they toss it). But each of the 3 times I’ve been to this location, I’ve ordered ahead and something has been wrong. I used to frequent the Studio City location when I worked in the Valley and this never happened there. At WeHo, they’ve forgotten the barbecue chicken on my barbecue chicken salad, the order wasn’t ready after 20 minutes, ingredients were missed, a wrap was made as a salad… I feel like when I talk to these employees on the phone, I can just tell they’re not really paying attention to my order. Please, please, PLEASE — get it together, Chop Stop! It doesn’t matter how much I love your salads, I just can’t justify coming back if you guys keep messing things up.

Really nice people and I’d say good customer service here. It’s very personalized allowing you to create a salad out of any ingredient(s) u wish. However all the ingredients available here are really low quality and this is very obvious in taste. Basically, this is the worst salad I’ve had. They’re are many many alternative places with much much better salads who don’t even focus on the salad alone. Also found it strange that they don’t even have greens! A couple of spinach leaves mixed with crap lettuce but if you’re like me and wish for some fresh greens amongst your salad, don’t come here. Also they’re prices would be appropriate for a nice green organic salad with these limitless options, not for a gross soggy salad with a bunch of canned food.

I liked it. three stars A-ok about describes it. I would rather it be a little more expensive with higher quality ingredients. I was there rather late, Maybe the lettuce was just a little wilted. Also I am a bit of a greens snob. Wheres the Arugula? We ordered two salads as suggested by the lovely girls behind the counter. The first was the Asian Chop: Double teriyaki chicken, edamame, carrots, cucumber, crispy wontons, and sesame ginger dressing. This salad was my favorite of the two. I expected the teriyaki chicken the have more flavor, but it was pretty bland. The sesame ginger dressing really saved the day. Super tasty. The second was the Viva Mexico Chop: Roasted chicken, cheddar cheese, tomato, black beans, jalepeno, tortilla strips, and a creamy chipotle dressing. I should have gotten the dressing on the side. they REALLY do CHOP your salad up. The lettuce bits were were diced so finely towards the end it had the texture less of a salad and more of coleslaw. Chop Shop is great if your looking for a cheap quick bite, but I don’t think I will seek out this spot anytime soon.

I gave this place too many chances. During the last 3 consecutive orders through DoorDash, this place has messed up each time. First order: half filled salad bowl. It looked like it was half-eaten. Second order: missing salad dressing. Nothing was taken care of on the restaurant’s end and I had to send someone across the street to a local café to pick me up salad dressing. Third order(today): wrong order. I got someone’s kale/egg/soybean/cranberry(GROSS) salad when I ordered something completely different. This place does NOT have it together. Too bad, because their salads are actually decent. Truly a disappointment.

Any health benefits provided by your salad would be undermined by the restaurant’s vibe. The employees, though courteous, were unenthusiastic and rather sad. I felt less alive after I walked out. Decent salads though. Update: ugh. I don’t know what possessed me to go back. Once again I left the place with less energy than when I arrived. I really need to stop with this chop.

I absolutely love this place. The best fast food salad place ever. You can either choose from like 10 pre-made salads or make your own, then they chop everything up in nice bite sizes and put it in large bowls. Absolutely delicious and healthy. You can even have the dressing tossed in how you like it. The staff are very friendly and have never messed up my order. The location that I go to all the time is the Ventura and Laurel Canyon one because its on my way home from work, but they have 2 other locations that I know of(West Hollywood and Encino). If you want a delicious fresh salad, come here. Oh and the prices are very reasonable. I usually get the Greek salad and I add black beans, chicken and pepperoncini peppers to mine. That comes up about $ 9 maybe less. The actual salad without the extras is $ 7.95.

The place is clean, staff is friendly. Good vegan options. Not crazy about their«wraps»… It was like a retarded child had put mine together and eating it was a disaster. As a matter of fact, the gent before me asked for a bowl upon ordering his(I can only imagine he’s a regular and knows that they haven’t figured out how to wrap a salad) and laughed about how it was going to fall apart. In all fairness, they did offer to make it again but only after explaining to me that I had not asked to have my rap cut in half or somesuch other nonsense. Dear salad/sandwich artists at «Chop Stop»: Roll it up, wrap it once with one paper, slice the whole thing in half. Then, wrap it again in another. Easy cheesey japanesey…

I really like their salads. I wish they had a punch card as I plan on eating there a lot. Instead they have a pre-pay card, but that sort of is hard to use as I usually end up losing the punch card anyway. I almost never get to the free whatever I am trying for. I would hate to have paid for a pre-paid card and lose it. But I know I would. So I am not doing it. I will just keep ordering their yummy salads and paying full price.

I came here on my lunch break since I work right down the street. I had high hopes for this place. Don’t get the wraps. They are basically a messy, oversized version of a wannabe Chipotle burrito. Their salads are not that good, and are DRENCHED in dressing. Don’t do it! Mehh –__– waste of $ 9!

I would give this place 4 – 5 stars for the salads — that, they do well. It’s fast-food-esque so it’s not meant to be fine dining… but the service is 1 star all the way. I have never gone in and had a good experience, which is a shame because they are the only quick to-go salad place nearby my work which I can order regularly without having to the bust the wallet. Each time I call to place a pick up order, I’m asked to hold for a long time… last time I got so frustrated because the girl on the other end told me to hold and before I knew, it had been 10 minutes so I hung up. I called back in to ask if I could just place an order — I work right up the street so I could have just walked down and ordered faster. She then ASKEDMETOHOLD again. I didn’t buy from them that day. Another time, my salad just didn’t have the dressing… another time 10 employees standing behind the counter but no one apparently working and a confused cashier who couldnt complete my order and told me to wait… I waited… and then had to re-order after 20 minutes because she hadn’t put the salad in. I…I just can’t understand this place and why it is such horrendous service every single time I go in there, giving them the benefit of the doubt, but it’s really a terrible overall experience each time, and for a number of reasons.

Review update– Although the employees and their customer service skills are still somewhat lacking, the salad options are great, now including kale. I would still stay away from the canned beets, but the majority of the menu features fresh whole foods. The make your own salad options are tempting, but with so many to choose from, it was easier to order off of their own salad combinations(substituting the chicken for more veggies, beans, or tofu, of course). A fresh salad is one of the best meals and you can get a delicious one made just the way you like it here, and quite quickly too. Fresh salad — perfect for the summer!
