NOHOTWATER! None of their machines offer hot or warm water. I’ve been going to this location for 3 years. 6 months ago they decided they no longer needed to offer warm/hot water to customers. Sometimes it doesn’t even look like the machines clean the clothes. I’ve had stuff come out looking and smelling like they did when I started.

Wash and fold is quick, decently priced, and no lost items. It’s cash only, despite what Unilocal says. I’ve done this a few times now and it’s great when I’m short on time. Update: they’ve changed their wash and fold hours to times that are less convenient for people who work 8 – 5.

Maria’s Fluff and Fold is a rare find at a time in history where everyone seems to want to charge the highest price regardless of quality. Here, the quality is of the highest standard but the price is actually reasonable. The skill put in to laundering your machine washables proves that there is an art to laundering that many may not have ever seen in their life times. I know my mom couldn’t do it. I know I was never able to master the skill. Because it is a lot more than just putting clothes into a machine and adding soap. Maria knows all the secrets to really doing it well. Quite frankly, I don’t think she charges her worth. Her prices are so reasonable that I am able to have her do all my laundry. I may never do my own laundry again. But if she were to raise her prices? I would gladly pay. She is that good!

I recently moved to the area and I stumbled upon this hidden gem. I will continue to be apart of Maria’s business for as long as I possibly can as she has treated me as if I were family from the first time we met. The first time I went in to wash my clothes, I began throwing all of my clothes into the washer. Yes, white clothes and colored clothes altogether. I do my own laundry but I am still very much lazy when doing it. As I was throwing everything into the washer, a little old lady came over and asked me in spanish if I enjoyed buying new clothes every few weeks. I was a bit offended but I akwardly chuckled. She told me that if i didnt take csre of my clothes I would be purchasing more and more of it every few weeks because it would not last lpng at all.(I swear it was my mother lecturing me all over again) She began taking the clothes out and separating it for me. She even added soap, and detergent(i didnt have any detergent, God I can barely take care of myself, I am 23 and recently began working and coforming to the adult life and its standards) anyway, back to my story, i thanked her and asked if she was the owner. She said she was not and she only ran the fluff and fold. She took care of the place, as the owner no longer cared to stop by and check in on it. She helped me fold my clothes and said that she expects me to do better my next time around. I laughed and offered to pay her, she refused and said I didnt owe her anything. I told relatives about her business and they drop off clothes every so often. They say just as many nice things abkut her as I do. I am new to Unilocal and only recently began bookmarking locations and checking in. I decided to write a review on this location as Maria is such a kind person and that in itself is a rarity in Los Angeles(people can be so douchy) so i recommend you stop in and check it out. Shoot let my homie Maria take care of your laundry for you. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I love Maria! She always leaves my clothes looking amazing! Its a family owned business, so you’ll always just see Maria or one of her sons and they all know what they are doing. I love the fact that they use good detergent, so you don’t have to worry about getting you clothes ruined or smelling funky with cheap stuff. They’re also great about following special instructions. There are certain items I don’t like to dry or have some things placed on hangers and they’re always on top of it. Once you become a usual they keep up with your schedule and have your stuff ready by the time you get there which is great. And they provide same day service, which I love! You can’t get anything better than this in West Hollywood for such a great price($ 1/lb). They fold everything so neatly its like mom did your laundry :)

Old machines that ruin your clothes. Dirty. Owner who could care less about customer concern or satisfaction. Need I say more? If you value your clothes definitely STAYAWAY from this dump because it is just that… a dirty DUMP. Owner has never been present in the 2 years I have been foolishly wasting my time and money at this place and has a staff that can barely speak English let alone take accountability for all the ruined clothes they consistently pump out. Not to mention if you are a somewhat attractive female be prepared to be gawked at the entire time you are doing laundry by the male attendants here, they will stare at your yoga pants wearing behind for the entire duration of your stay and not blink twice. Here’s to the owner, who has explicitly told his employees to not release his name or contact info to customers: If the only way us VERY unsatisfied customers can get a hold of you is by leaving our number in your ‘suggestion box’ do the right thing and get in touch instead of ignoring the people that keep your business going. There’s a suggestion for YOU. Next call: BBB
