Went on Saturday night the new Latin night. Had a wonderful time and dance a lot. Great bartenders Omar and Moe are the best. I do recommend this place it’s awesome…

Wow. At 1:30am the music stopped. The DJ and the manager are arguing in the corner. I approached the manager to ask why the music stopped. He told me,“well it’s time to leave, get out of here”. Incredible. Never coming back. Get out of weho.

Went out with a bunch of girlfriends for a night of dancing and drinking and had a great time. Drinks cheap and music good but could have been better. Overall a fun night

Purchased 3 night VIP ticket for NYE. First night it was ok… the music was up n down, crowd mostly teenagers. Second night, they didn’t let us in and kept asking us to pay $ 15 to get in cos we cut the bracelet from previous night(we had to take a shower LOL) but thank God the promoter with the suits was nice to let us in and also he replaced it with the new bracelet. The music that night was good after 12am but before that not really. Bartenders were friendly n pretty generous with alcohol. We skipped the third night cos one of my friends cut the stupid bracelet again. My suggestion for next time event… if it’s more than 1 night. They should create 3 different tickets instead of 1 + stupid bracelets that give us hard time to take them off.

Beware!!! We all(5) were pick pocketed on the dance floor here last Thursday night. Cell phones and wallets gone. Had to be a professional thief. Called management to report but they did not seem surprised. Very upsetting.

I came here for Musical Mondays with some friends and had the best night ever! There’s nothing better than singing Broadway/Disney with a ton of other people(especially without the pressure of karaōke). We loved the group of friends that was acting out all the songs. The live show after that was short and sweet(about 40 minutes). It was nice to be able to check out the bar without a shit-ton of people in it. The one complaint I have is I feel like they charged us full price for drinks when I thought they had a special going. I’m not sure, but if so, that’s sneaky. I realize it’s weho, but I don’t like paying $ 10 each for tequila shots on a Monday night. But anyway, this is definitely a fun place and I want to come back!

I hadn’t been to WeHo in years, but was invited to a Real Disco Wednesday on Oct 14… what a BLAST! I had dinner there and the food was excellent, the staff cute and friendly, the sound system excellent for that room, and John Torres spinning the best of the ‘70s and ‘80s. It was a gala event, and the next one’s this coming Wednesday the 28th and every other Wednesday after that. This Wednesday will be Robbie Leslie of Studio 54, The Saint, and worldwide… a DON’T MISSIT date. I’ll be there, you should be, too!

If you love to «put your back into it» when you dance, ogle over a slew of sexy gay 20-something’s, and you happen to be free on a Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday night, I strongly encourage a trip to Rage. In late March of 2015, I flew back to my hometown of Los Angeles to attend the wedding of my friend, mentor, and former high school teacher. The night of the ceremony, I darted back to the newlywed’s abode for a quick shower and mildly slutty costume change. Around 10:30pm, I über’d my way through Burbank to meet up in WeHo with two of my closest 1st grade girlfriends. Since each of our previous club outings had all taken place at hetero spots, I was insistant that we explore some different territory, where I’d actually have an opportunity to flirt with a cute guy & not risk a black eye. Our first stop happened to be a legendary cornerstone of tinsel town’s «gay-borhood», formally known as The Abbey. If you’re interested in a more sedate experience of dining, mingling, and people-watching, The Abbey will work for you and your crew. My friends and I, however, were actually trying to dance. So, aside from the hunky go-go dancers sprinkled around the facility, there didn’t seem to be sufficient action to keep us entertained for very long. We wandered in and out of a few other, seemingly poppin’ clubs before finally discovering & settling on Rage. This spacious, colorful, multi-room facility, was exactly what I had my gay fingers crossed for. On Thursday’s the theme is usually«college night», where the playlist happens to be affixed on 90s Hip Hop and the latest R&B. However, our visit on a Sunday night definitely seemed to dish out a hefty serving of Biggie, Tupac, Beyoncé, and a cluster of «booty clappin’ beats» to accompany other popular genrés. From the moment we entered, I immediately became taken with the gaggle of gorgeous gents from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. My first major suggestion to anyone is that if you don’t plan to bring your A-game in the looks department, Rage may not be the place for you. Perfectly coiffed hair, halogen white teeth, and designer urban streetwear such as HBA, MCM, & Boy London could easily describe a vast majority of the crowd. We first made our way beyond the rectangular bar at the entrance, venturing upstairs. Equipped with balconies overlooking one of the main dance stages, the second floor was more secluded & seemed perfect for making out with any pick of the litter. There was a private room behind velvet curtains, which we were quickly shunned from. One could assume that area was probably VIP only. We spent time near one of the balconies, dancing, taking group selfies, & enjoying the accompanying music videos being played on the jumbo flat screens below. I eventually spotted a super cute, light skinned boy that I could not resist getting a closer look at. The remainder of our night was spent dancing downstairs, in front of the main stage, while my friends tried encouraging me to approach the guy I was salivating over. Perhaps the next time I make it out to Rage, I’ll arrive early enough for dinner service & not be too shy to make a move on the next sexy guy I see.

So first off let me say I’m a straight woman(20), Came here with my mom actually(late 30’s) after a night at the Improv Comedy Club. I had the greatest club experience here! No men groping you, and the men who do decide they want to dance with you are dancing with you in pure fun and dorky robot moves(my specialty). We came for a Friday Game Boii night and it was a blast, then when you’re really into the dancing and music, staff come by with trays of Popsicles. Great night with some great people, if I decide to go out again it’ll probably here to be honest(:

Had an amazing time here! Came with some gay friends and a few of my girlfriends on game boi night and it was fantastic! The DJ played great feel good pop music that everyone loved singling along to, the dance floor energy was awesome and there are a lot of places to sit and hangout with your friends when you need a break. The go-go dancers are so friendly and sweet, feel free to give them a tip ;) It’s also one of the few 18+ clubs in the area, so if you’re looking to have a good time, this is the place!!! Also the fact that Millions of Milkshakes is right across the street, makes it all the more awesome!

Okay let me first say, that when I first came to RAGE at 18, I effing loved it. That’s because my soul was lost, and my mind was in the gutter. Don’t get me wrong, I used to enjoy the club scene in LA but not anymore. The only clubs I’ll hit from now on are the ones in Las Vegas. The bouncers here have a bigger thing up their ass than the actual gays themselves. If you’re going to come, come before 10pm so you can get in for free. I like the ambience of the club, and I like that it has a patio, in case you want to smoke or get high or whatever. However, I had an incident where my phone was stolen, and the bouncers did not help me whatsoever. Let’s just say I had to do my own«scoping». I even had to BEG one of the bouncers to let me inside the club after everyone left to see if I had dropped my phone on the floor. He gave me a hard time, and made my experience even more terrible than it already was. It’s so fucked up because my phone was a 500 dollar Iphone that I had just bought a couple of months prior to the incident. Main warning: if you have an Iphone leave it inside your tits or nutsack. Bathrooms — don’t even get me started on those. They are so small, you can literally smell people’s shit outside the door. I had to wait maybe 30 minutes to pee in a stall so small you can’t even fit a small pizza box in it. I felt totally uncomfortable knowing there were lesbians trying to take a peek of my ponany inside the peekhole. Not cool guys. Not cool! Plus, when I got outside the stall there was this lady passing out hand wipes as if I couldn’t do it myself? WTF this isn’t the Standard Hotel. Also on the dance floor — BEWAREOFSLOPS. Slops is a man in his 50 – 60’s who is there every friday night. The man smells like he got cockroaches in his underwear. Seriously, I was here with my gays and he just started grinding on me from the back. A) I’m a straight female. B) I am not interested. C) Take a shower. I threw up a little in my mouth. Not a pleasant experience as I felt the duty to warn you. CONSIDERYOURSELFWARNED. I recommend it if you’re a newbie. But if you’re an experienced old lad like me, just refrain from coming here. I can assure you the crowd is not as mature as 21 and over crowds. This place is full of kids barely legal from High School. Go to TRUNKS better. Cheap drinks, chill ambience. Not interested, and definitely wouldn’t come here again. It truly left me a sour note in my mouth.(No, not a bad load — a sour note)

I fell in love with a gogo dancer at Rage WeHo. Ooh, those spastic moves… those platform boots… but that’s not the reason why I love it! I used to go club hopping regularly and I would always find my way back to Rage. They house DJs that spin the best music(including screens playing music videos). Plus, quality drag shows? Yes please! I also love that they have an outdoor patio where you can just drink and admire the pretty lights on the trees. It’s 100% chill and smack dab in the middle of several restaurants to choose from. It’s a go-to spot for a clubbing night. Tip: Thursdays is 18+ no cover if you arrive early!

Gay clubs are very similar to a glittery, colorful, and grope-free bedroom and it’s slumber party all the time. This one is even better, because you get hot go-go male dancers, burlesque shows, and insane cocktails and tequilas collection. My friend performed on their stage tonight and all the shows were so great, I decided to finally give this place its due. Bar-Hopping around WeHo and on SM blvd makes LA the best place on earth.

I like gay clubs because I don’t get groped. I like gay clubs because the go-go dancers are male. I like gay clubs because I can wear whatever the @#*$ I please. WeHo is the perfect night on the town for this simple girl in a tank top, shorts, and flats. Leave fancy behind. The only LV in my book stands for«lick v…», oh wait, I’m not into that, but I’m into the spirit of it all. Rage was all that rage years ago, probably even before my clubbing days. Today, it’s not the latest or hottest, but it’s still a cornerstone in the gay club scene. You like Asians? What cha doing this Friday? Fridays are GAMeBoi nights, 18+. It’s usually $ 12 at the door, or $ 5 before 10 p.m. and $ 10 before 12 a.m. IF you get on the guest list(check their FB page). The environment is down-to-earth and non-judgy. The only elevator stares I get are from girls who think I’m hot. That’s refreshing. When a drag show is not in session, the stage at the back welcomes clubgoers drunk, sober, or anywhere in between to jump on and shake that bootay. Belongings have been known to vanish in that crowd though so hold on tightly to your stuff. The music on Friday nights is mainly pop and dance, drizzled with some softcore EDM. Be warned that the style doesn’t fit modern taste as well as some of the newer venues in the area. Rage was my introduction to gay clubs years ago when I was a wide-eyed girl mesmerized by strobing lights and sweat-glossed dancers. It was worth a revisit to find out that not much has changed, and that I haven’t grown up at all.

Very disappointing. EDM Thursdays are apparently no longer a thing. Not to mention there’s no DJ! Talk about cringeworthy. I asked a friend that goes here with her coworkers occasionally and she says that she hasn’t seen a DJ in forever. They just have these TVs on the walls that play generic music. Definitely was not expecting to come dancing to that. I tried giving it an hour shot and I couldn’t get my vibe going. I was forcing myself to dance. I was disappointed all around especially since I happened to bring two of my close friends who never went to a club. There are much better clubs gay or straight all over LA. Do yourself the favor and go to another one. Plus there’s quite a bit of odd characters that linger in around Rage.

We came after midnight on a Saturday night(no cover charge) and the crowd was strong but the bartender was fast and made drinks quickly. It was easy to order because the bar they have a big giant bar in the very front that is in between the dance floor and the patio. On the dance floor, there were lots of lights and a stage at the back that was open to anyone. The DJ was on a booth on the second floor, I liked how they had the music videos playing for each song but did not only hearing the first minute of every song before moving on. It was my favorite bar(of three total) of the evening.

I’ve come here only for the Friday night, Asian nights, since I’ve heard that this is the most happening night for Rage. Definitely a younger crowd, mostly 20s and maybe early 30s. Haven’t been disappointed both times! Music is good both on the main dance floor(edm and top 40) and the r&b/rap room upstairs. There’s always people dancing everywhere, which is what definitely makes it a fun time, as opposed to other clubs where people just stand around in little groups! I’ve never had any problems with getting in, line has never been too long when I arrive around 10:30ish, and cover is $ 12. They always have some sort of drinks special, which can be viewed on the TVs around the bar. A cool place, that I always have fun at!

If any bar epitomizes the young WeHo gay set its Rage. To be in, be young, twinkie type pretty, wear flash tight fitting pricey off beat but mod custom designer t-shirt type clothing, arrive slightly buzzed and ready to madly dance your ass off. It might also help to have lots of cash, order top shelf and have a Justin Bieber brat like attitude. If you’re not or don’t, you’ll end up looking and feeling like an out of place exhibit from La Brea Tar Pits. The DJ’s and the music are great with a tune mix you won’t hear elsewhere, everything from the latest in Korean Pop to a pre or just released Beyonce. The bartenders are pros, security is good, know how to handle a rave crowd well, and though drinks can be on the pricey side, not all that pricey for a WeHo bar. Though not at all my type of place and even though not at all a fan of the place, the popularity of Rage pretty much proves itself, so to be objective about it and rate it for what it is, even if not my thing, four stars.
